Quote:I pray Allah Bless me with what's right to state.I can't believe in Saudi there were burger king and mcdonalds and resturants pretending to be like the west. the meat is halaal, but still why imprint that in the minds of the young, and if evr they were to ienter usa, the first restuarant they go into may just be burger king or mcdonalds.

As Salam Alyom Akhi AL3a3, yes in Saudi Arabia there is, and u know where, in prime location in Mecca Akhi. Right in front of the Haram. But don't worry, number of customers decreased dramatically since we called for boycott. Brother Qatil actually I must tell u that if the rate u gave was correct, they wouldn't have been as worried. They are worried, yes, and Alhamdulelah it is affecting. Even just as AL3a3 said. We must fight the culture invasions. We told pizza hut here in Egypt, call it pizza whatever, we will buy.

May Allah grant the Muslim Ummah victory ameen

I love the muslim community, but that was just an example, please no one take offense, to anything that is stated by anyone ever, because what matters is what Allah (swt), the Prophet (saaws), and the companions (ram), states.

there are other countries that have european western shops, and we should only keep in mind that we are to be different from non-muslims, that's to show them Truth and Light only.

I pray Allah (swt) bless us to be united as one in Truth.

Also, I am proud that Saudi is striving to make it much better, I pray Allah(swt) help us all, for Mecca, and Madina are 2 of the most important places for the Islamic family.

I love all muslims even us weak ones for Allah's Pleasure only.

Boycotting is a form of Jihad also, furthermore I think we should give boycotting a chance to see its fruits. Also we must look at things differently we must change we must stop depending on them, we have our religion which is our way of life and for sure we can survive very well without them. Furthermore even if a small group of Muslims are doing the right thing it means aloooot even if we don't see such a strong effect.

Asalaamu alikum everyone,

I just wanted to point out something, if you really want to do a serious boycott. One of the things you will need to add to the list is COMPUTERS, and most computer hardware. This is one of BOTH Isreal and Americas largest income from exports. This includes both microsoft and Pentium.

as you are using the computer now, it has been very useful to the community of many other muslims all around the world. as with the tv, we can use it for islamic studies, like the vcr and dvd and cassettes.

their is no faster way to send a messsage to our families overseas, it's cheaper than the phone, you can send pages of info and e-cards anything.

like with the spoon for soup or watch to tell time, we need somethings, and somethings we don't need. we must filter out what is useful and what is foolishness, a waste of time

like cars, and beleive me i love cars, but i don't need a bmw to get to where i need to go, that is extravagant but i do need a car, i don't need to be rich, but i do need to have enough (Allah forbids) in case of emergency, and to make my home comfortable for my family.

Somethings are good in this world others are just allurements.

If you have it like that, to have a car for you and one for your wife, because of the children and her saftey, and schedules al-hamdu'llah. but we shouldn't be too flashy, and i use to have many outfits, but narrrowed it down, for women it's alittle different, but for us brothers it's too much.

all my opinion

There was a BLACKED OUT, over there in some major parts of north east america, what an example, no tv's,. vcrs. computers, nothing but reality, totally darkness.

appreciating every drop of water, the natural light from fire, and humblllllllllled... all of us, that was real, 24hrs. and for some parts no energy or water yet.

MASHA'LLAH!!!

As-salaamu alaikum wa rahmantu'llah
