Thought of the Week

Bismillah

As Salam alaikum

This is one of my favorite reminders. My family and I will ask each other concerning life issues, "Did you tie up your camel?" This is our quick way of askig if everything that could be done has been done.

Jazakum Allah Kahirun for these reminders

As Salam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu

There are no more days beloved 2 Allah for u 2 worship him, therein then the 10 days of Dhul Hijja. Fasting any day is equivalent 2 fasting 1 yr n to offer salatul tahujjud during 1 of its nites is lyk performing the nite prayer on da nite of power. (at-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, al-Baihaqi)

Ibn Al-Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah said in his book, Salah and the ruling on the one who leaves it: "The sin of one who leaves the Salah with Allah, his sin is worse than killing a soul, and taking the money of the people, and even worse than the sin of Zina, and stealing, and taking intoxicants. And the one who does that has exposed himself to the Punishment of Allah, and His Anger, and His Humiliation for him in this life and the afterlife."

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr:

A person asked Allah's Apostle . "What (sort of) deeds in or (what qualities of) Islam are good?" He replied, "To feed (the poor) and greet those whom you know and those whom you don't know."

"I invite you to see the world around you with new eyes today; with eyes of wonder and gratitude, thanks and praise. May Allah swt make us of those who are reminded of Him at every turn, who turn back to Him, seeking His Face, striving for His Garden. Ameen" quoted by Na'ima B. Robert

Salmaan al Faarisi (ra) narrated that the messenger of Allah (saw) said:

" Whoever takes a bath on Friday, purifies himself as much as he can, then uses oil (hair) or perfumes himself with scent, then proceeds (for jumua prayer) and does not separate two persons sitting together (in the mosque) then prays as much as (Allah has) written for him and then remains silent while the imam is delivering the khutba, his sins between the present and the next Friday would be forgiven."

(Sahih Bukhari)
