What we actually believe
#11

Glory to God, peace on earth, good will to all.

Salam Wael :peace:

There are 2 similar discussions currently taking place. I've posted a reply regarding Islamic sectarianism here: http://islamsms.com/bb/index.php?showt...=0&gopid=31657&

Feel free to migrate & we shall carry on :)

Wel, we believe in life after death...or rather just everlasting life. My asking a Saint to pray for me is no different than my asking my neighbor to pray for me.

I think we have covered this point in “Mother Teresa’s thread”, so am not going to repeat what was said earlier.

From your "inventation to think"....

I wonder if you will love other Christians (Non Catholic)’s interpretation of the Bible. :conf06:

Not all the time...no.

Muslims have it worse though. Each Muslim interprets the Koran and the Haddiths on their own and hopes for the best.

Every muslim is their own Pope.

I'm quite shocked that you out of all people would throw cheap shots, Dan.

What exactly did Josef Ratzinger do as a "Hitler Youth" that bothers you?

For the record, I love our Holy Father & after JP2 passed away (RIP), I had no doubt in my mind that Cardinal Ratzinger would be the next one to occupy St Peter's chair.

Please give him a break! His past service to Germany & that infamous speech on faith & reason have been sensationalized by the media. Don't buy into it, bro!

Take care & God bless.
