#31

In the Name of God - Father Son Holy Spirit.

Peace be with you!

Quote:"Agree to disagree?"

Of course. If I believed as you do, then I would be Catholic and if you believed as I do, you would be Muslim.

Alhamdulilah for Qadar (predestination) ;)

God bless you, Dan.

"Qadar (predestination)"

Not co-equal...

One speaker I heard explain Qadr as the measured out cloth of possibilities...

but we can just leave it at that, right?

As we received many non muslim members who are inquiring about the concept of Qadar and how does it work in Islam.

We thought to dedicate a whole thread to it.

Praise be to Allah, prayer and peace be upon His Messenger, our leader and teacher Mohamed, prayer and peace be upon all the Messengers and Prophets, I seek Allah's Close guidance and Correct info to put here.

Ok, FHC you ve been on this quest for quite sometime, let me try Insh a Allah to pull the thread of this issue slowly,

Review this Ayah, then Insh a Allah from here we shall push foward:

"Whosoever desires
(with his deeds) the reward
of the Hereafter
, We give him increase in his reward, and whosoever desires
the reward
of this world (with his deeds), We give him thereof (what is written for him), and he has no portion in the Hereafter
."" (Quran 42:20)

With all due respect to the translator, may Allah Reward him much, but the colored words mean more than just reward. The word in Arabic is Harth, Harth is the action of eathing the agriculture land in order to bear fruit and grow the crops. But what is more important here is that the person is the pary in charge of making a selection of what he/she wants to earth. Allah Say: Who ever desires, thus, the person has to initiate the desire, make a clear inclination towards the path or course he/she wants to pursue. Based on this choice, Allah Shall Gives.

Insh a Allah more to come.

al- Qadr linguisticly means Pre-decree or pre-ordainment

I'll try to simplify this matter for all of us including the non-muslims on this forum and it is not to take away anything which was already said. And the intention is only seeking Allah's pleasure and hopefully guiding some soul to the deen of Islam which clarifies all matters of our exsistence.

From the attributes of Allah is that He does whatever He wants. Nothing comes to past, except by His desire
(Iraadah) And nothing escapes His will(masheeah) There is nothing in this world that escapes from His pre-ordainment(Taqdeer) And nothing comes to past without His Administration(tadbeer). No one can go around the Preordainment(Qadr) which has been recorded for them.nor can anyone transgress the limits of what has been decreed for him or her in a writen tablet called(Al-Lawh-ul-Mahfoodh) He wills all that the creation does. Had He made us infalible, We would not disobey Him. He created the creation and their actions, And He preordained their provisions and lifespands. He guides whom he wills by His Wisdom.

See The Noble Qur'an for these proofs:

21:23

54:49

25:2

57:226:125

and there are several hadeeth which affirms these beliefs .

There are four aspects the Muslims must believe in regarding Qadr

1 al- Ilm- Allah has knowledge of all matters

2 Al-kitaabah-Allah wrote all matters perserved with Him

3al- mashee'ah- Allah willed everything before it happened

4al-khaq- Allah created everything I love to simlify matters I hope this was good for you'all May Allah guide to the beliefs which are correct upon the way of the best generations... amen

Usually, I prefer not to argue, but then u mean that human beings dont have a free will. See that was the main point of this thread.

Other wise, you are saying a non muslim is a non muslim because Allah Wants him/her to be so, then if this is the case, why Allah Shall Judge them, why Allah Warned against being a non believer or taking associates with Allah strongly in Quran??Just a clarification, not that I m saying that what you posted is incorrect, but u also need to explain more in a way that makes it easier for one to understand. Refer to post #4, you will get a grasp on the main point needs to be discussed here.

You also need to insert the hadeeth regarding that only Dua repels the Qadaa. If u care to continue may Allah reward u.

abdulwalee is a God-sent - not because his opinion differs from the rest, but because someone finally understands where I'm coming from!!!

Till Abdulwalee comes back, let me tell you where exactly people are stumbling. You mean we have no free will, thus, we are not responsible for our actions. I m not responsible for being a Muslim so is FHC not responsible for being Nasrania. In other words, Allah Chose this for us, but why will Allah Judge us then?

In The Name of Allah the One free of all defects He begets NOT nor is He Begotten And Nothing is His Likeness He is one the God of Abrahaam,Noah, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. I'd like to say to You F HCharity That It is true that Muslims differ on the these issue, Yet the truth is one I'd like to discuss with you regarding another issue in the best manner using wisdom free from ill-manners using that Intellect which Allah has given Us with the hope that you and I can come to an agreement to some issues which cover God, Who and How he is to be worshiped weather or not This God is in need of intermediaries, and latter I would like to introduce you to an Historical document writen some years ago. keep in mind I wont make this a personal issue nor will I bager you into becoming a muslim. My hope is to show you the truth of Islam and you'll come to be a muslim all on your own from study. First lets acualize and focus our attention on the statement In the Qur'an where Allah is addressing a group of people: And they (Jews, christians and pagans) say: Allâh has begotten a son (children or offspring). Glory be to Him (Exalted be He above all that they associate with Him). Nay, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth, and all surrender with obedience (in worship) to Him. (Al-Baqarah 2:116) If posible could we have our discussion in the appropriate setting maybe the belief forum or even you may choose which room. Thanx
