Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu,
All praises are for ALLAH and peace and blessings on our beloved prophet (sws). Whoever ALLAH guides none can misguide and whoever ALLAH lets to go astray none can guide. I bear witness that there is no diety worthy of worship except ALLAH and i bear witness that Muhammad (sws) is HIS slave and messenger.
HADITH:
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Allah the Exalted has said: 'I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a pious worshipper of Mine. And the most beloved thing with which My slave comes nearer to Me is what I have enjoined upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (prayer or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) till I love him. When I love him I become his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks (something) from Me, I give him, and if he asks My Protection (refuge), I protect him".
[Al-Bukhari].

It depends why do u miss it? are u usually at work during those times, not after Fajr of course.
Well as for after Fajr and before sunrise, always try hard to keep yourself from going back to sleep immediately, even at the beginning, try to do the dikhr right before leaving the prayer spot. Insh a Allah this will help u by time to maintain it.

Assalamu'alaikum
I don't sleep after praying subh. after fajr I usually read islamic books or magazine. I learn abt aqidah, fiqh etc that i need to know. I think it's good time for learning. When I am curious abt something i usually give more attention to it. It means I miss the time again to do the dzikr.
in Ashr time i'm still at work. Sometimes I try to do the dzikr during my way back to home - while i'm riding my bike. But I often forget the du'a since i have to concentrate on my way at the same time. and then i change to review several ayat from the qur'an. This is easier because i can "read" any surah i want :)
when i arrive at home, my auntie tells me to have some meals, since i usually don't come out from my room after maghrib and isya.
So i haven't finished my dzikr when the sun rises or adzan maghrib is heard :(
Arabic is not my mother tounge. I need more efforts to be able to read and write in Arabic.
Jazakumullah khair for your advice.
wassalam,
dija

O Mash aAllah Dija, thus just for you to know, even reading A``qida is dhikr since this is gaining knowledge. How about u make the dhikr after fajr instead, u know why, time by time, Insh a Allah u will learn it by heart, then u will be able to say it biking back home and INsh a Allah this will continue.
