Yeah well, the thing is BrotherTodd, the bible and the Qu'ran have both been doctored by the human hand and interpretated and misrepresented over a long period of time. What was appropriate in 7th centurey arabia is just not going to cut it in 2003. I dan't care what religion you choose to follow, whether it be Islam, Christianity, the Jehovas, the Moonies, stoning someone to death is a barbaric act of the utmost savagery. Particularly when you take the "crime" into consideration. This is a step backward for the human race, come dude, get with the program !!

If people would follow their religion, that is all the laws that there would need to be for people to live in peace and harmony.  But as we know this is not a perfect world. Islam is all about, Peace and the submission to Allah(SWT) commands.

Hey, as a lifestyle, I have no problem with Islam, all I am saying, you can't be making up laws and forcing people to believe in Allah. What next, throwing the christians to the lions ?

The prophet Mohammad's history has some interesting parts to it and not all of it is so benelovant my friend.

And again, a lot of the spread of Islam was through themuslim armies rampaging around the world, same way as many other empires did. Nothing new or unusual there. Just another part of history.

Actually, yes he can, without objection! Muslims worship Allah - the God of Abraham. The Holy Father wouldn't even stop you from holding Salat inside a Church! Wow!

HabibHibee, word and action are 2 different things. i was told by a wise man once that behaviour reflects personality. to answer your question all you have to do is find 1 country where islam has lived side by side with a different religeon.


and if you can find something like that email it to me cause i cant find a single one. pick any religeon and i could provide quite a few examples of Benevolence in Islam.

Here we go again, I am an Egyptian, Christians in our country used to practice their faith freely and without fear. I do agree that there are few bad examples of intolerance and misconduct among the followers of both faiths, but as a whole, we do love and respect each other. I know that you can pick up some incidents from the internet and portray them as general casesin Egypt, but you can never tell the truth unless you visit Egypt and witness how Muslims and Christians are living in peace and love each other.


if you are trying to argue too much about this, then you are giving me a chance to present the real picture of <b>"the peaceful Christians" </b> who wiped out the Muslims from Spain by the sword, who were the first people in history to use the words <b>HOLY WAR </b> when they invaded Jerusalem and killed millions of Muslims, who killed thousands upon thousands of Muslims in Philippines and converted others into Catholicism by force…etc...
