As Salam alaikum
Subhannallah. A good read to review.
"when will that time will come when we have men like Qutuz, Salah Eldeen, Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed, the day will come Insha'Allah as Allah promised us in the Quran and the Prophecies by our beloved Prophet-PBUH-( that were told to him also by Allah(SWT)."
We muslim males... I hesitate to say men after reading this account, seem to think that these men popped out of nowhere. All of these men made the DECISION to trust Allah and sacrifice their wealth, mind, body, and soul all for Allah.
The muslims at Badr did not just expect victory without action. They knew they had to fight with all they were in order to achieve the Blessings Promised by Allah.
When will the Promise of Allah come to pass? When the religion of Islam has MEN who choose to strive with all they have and all they are.
Allah Make us them, Insha'Allah!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean Dan, but Insh aAllah time will come when men will realize their manhood and change. Yesterday, for a change I was watching TV, they were interviewing an Egyptian actor about his memories of the 6th of October victory. He is a veteran who left the military service for medical purposes only 6 months before the October war. Though, he participated in the 67 war, during which, we were baldy defeated. During that time, the radio gave false info about us making remarable progress and pushing forward. However, he was able to capture a war prisoner. Due to our teachings (Islamic), he offered him humanitarian treatment, invetigated him in French. During the investigation, due to the warm atmosphere, he asked him whom do you think will win the war? the prisoner speficied do you mean the war or the battle? the Egyptian actor was not realizing his aim, he said fine whatever you call it. The prisoner said, as for the battle, we already won, your planes are all shot on ground. The egyptian soldier, at that time, became upset and told him I offered you humanitarian treatment and you are lying to me, we won the battle. It is only hours for us to be in Tel Aviv. The prisoner, said negative, we won the battle and soon you will be informed about the truth. But as for the war, it is yours, you will win the war. The final game will be certainly yours.
So Dan even them, they are aware of this. Insh aAllah we will all grow into better Muslims, try to raise Muslim men who take Qutuz and the like as a role model, not Tom Cruise or those singers who are men like. :76:

Subhanallah, Wal Hamdulillah Wa Laa Ilaa ha Illallaah Walla-hu-Akbar!
Believe you me there are men in this ummah even today as we witness the sacrifices taking place.
As for the Moguls they conquered muslim land and eventually after a few years they became muslims and left their barbaric ways only to embrace Allah's light!
However, the antics of the moguls does remind me of the occupiers of muslim lands today in particular Iraq and Afghanistan.
Muslimah, as for the 67 war, the Egyptian soldiers were advancing only to be shot by their own war planes ordered by those in power at that time. Muslims have only ever lost when they have been deceived not when sincere people are at the helm.
