witness

u seem really confused, quoting Ayahs out of context

"How (will it be) then, when We bring from each nation a witness and We bring you (O Muhammad) as a witness against these people?* On that day those <b>who disbelieved and disobeyed the Messenger (Muhammad) will wish that they were buried in the earth, but they will never be able to hide a single fact from Allah." (Quran 4:40-41"</b>

1. The Day= Day After

2. Witness from each nation= the prophet/messenger who was sent to this given nation (remember each Messenger prophet was sent to his nation only except Mohamed prayer and peace be upon him was sent to mankind and jinn).

3. then Allah shall bring mohamed prayer and peace be upon him as witness againt all of them

4. Be aware not to get classified under the last point.

If Allah Willed to bring a witness to modify, compliment, amend or whatever u r claiming :76:

in this specific ayah Allah Should have not made the criteria is to obey/disobey what was brought forth by Mohamed and only Mohamed prayer and peace be upon him no assistances, no witnesses. no one else.

Alhamdulelah who has guided us for this.

YUSUFALI: One Day We shall raise from all Peoples a Witness: then will no excuse be accepted from Unbelievers, nor will they receive any favours.

PICKTHAL: And (bethink you of) the day when we raise up of every nation a witness, then there is no leave for disbelievers, nor are they allowed to make amends.

SHAKIR: And on the day when We will raise up a witness out of every nation, then shall no permission be given to those who disbelieve, nor shall they be made to solicit favor.

here are three interpretations and they all say the same as I have said, Why do you not receive admonition.

016.089

YUSUFALI: One day We shall raise from all Peoples a witness against them, from amongst themselves: and We shall bring thee as a witness against these (thy people): and We have sent down to thee the Book explaining all things, a Guide, a Mercy, and Glad Tidings to Muslims.

PICKTHAL: And (bethink you of) the day when We raise in every nation a witness against them of their own folk, and We bring thee (Muhammad) as a witness against these. And We reveal the Scripture unto thee as an exposition of all things, and a guidance and a mercy and good tidings for those who have surrendered (to Allah).

SHAKIR: And on the day when We will raise up in every people a witness against them from among themselves, and bring you as a witness against these-- and We have revealed the Book to you explaining clearly everything, and a guidance and mercy and good news for those who submit.

All these interpretation say the same thing I am saying. "I am no bringer of new-fangled doctrine among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I follow but that which is revealed to me; I am but a Witness open and clear."

004.041

YUSUFALI: How then if We brought from each people a witness, and We brought thee as a witness against these people!

PICKTHAL: But how (will it be with them) when We bring of every people a witness, and We bring thee (O Muhammad) a witness against these?

SHAKIR: How will it be, then, when We bring from every people a witness and bring you as a witness against these?

And again, these verses are three witnesses that prove what I am saying.

003.007

YUSUFALI: He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book: In it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord:" and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.

PICKTHAL: He it is Who hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture wherein are clear revelations - they are the substance of the Book - and others (which are) allegorical. But those in whose hearts is doubt pursue, forsooth, that which is allegorical seeking (to cause) dissension by seeking to explain it. None knoweth its explanation save Allah. And those who are of sound instruction say: We believe therein; the whole is from our Lord; but only men of understanding really heed.

SHAKIR: He it is Who has revealed the Book to you; some of its verses are decisive, they are the basis of the Book, and others are allegorical; then as for those in whose hearts there is perversity they follow the part of it which is allegorical, seeking to mislead and seeking to give it (their own) interpretation. but none knows its interpretation except Allah, and those who are firmly rooted in knowledge say: We believe in it, it is all from our Lord; and none do mind except those having understanding.

Just one example of a proper interpretation of the Ayahs u used:

"And (remember) the Day when We shall raise up from each nation a witness (their Messenger), then, those who have disbelieved will not be given leave (to put forward excuses), nor will they be allowed (to return to the world) to repent and ask for Allah's Forgiveness (of their sins, etc.)." (16:84)

"84. And (remember) the Day when We shall raise up from each nation a witness (their Messenger), then, those who disbelieved will not be given leave (to put forward excuses), nor will they be allowed (to return to the world) to repent and ask for Allâh’s Forgiveness (of their sins).

85. And when those who did wrong (the disbelievers) will see the torment, then it will not be lightened unto them, nor will they be given respite.

86. And when those who associated partners with Allâh see their (Allâh’s so-called) partners, they will say: "Our Lord! These are our partners whom we used to invoke besides you." But they will throw back their word at them (and say): "Surely! You indeed are liars!"

"

The same meaning, what the problem is, is that u keep doing the same thing, u quote one Ayah without the preceeding and suceeding Ayahs that explains it without even having to refer to tafseer.

Again witness, the day included in those Ayahs is the Day of Judgment and the witness is their Messenger in order to testify that he fulfilled his duty explaining to his people about the oneness of Allah.

Just do more search on the interpretations, unless of course u r happy of your statuse which seems to be the situation.

How can you see if you refuse to look? Muslimah, I know you love Allah with all your heart, so if you love Allah with all your heart then you must have faith and to have faith means to go forward when you want to turn back. I know that you understood those verses that I gave you as you will not respond to them directly.

Let Allah be a Witness between you and me. If I am lying to you my beloved, may Allah curse me severely and if you are not willing to believe me then explain to me why from your own heart.

This is the best things u suggested, I will stop here. Let Allah be between u and all of us not only me. This is not my own position solely.

However, re read the Ayahs within context, read the one before and after. May Allah Guide u.

This is truly a serious question. In order to ascertain the validity of a message one must know the messenger.

Do you or have you ever taken any kind of drugs?

Oh yes, I have taken drugs in the past. And presently I like an Ice cold beer(although I don't get drunk)

Excerpt from "The Instruction"

This is the instruction: Communion with God is not achieved by the vain denial of things called worldly. So many so-called religious teachers are creating so much false righteousness. You are not righteous because you don’t take drugs, smoke cigarettes, drink alcohol, play cards, go dancing or any other so-called worldly recreation. In-fact these things are no more worldly than not doing them. There are some who treat there wives as mothers or worse, as dogs are they righteous? Of course not. Your Worship of God and Your godly relationship with others is the criteria for righteousness. These false teachers tell you to abstain from this and that and in-fact you should only abstain from your dis-belief and whatever else the Witness relates to you as forbidden.

There are some religions that drink blood or use blood for rituals and they sacrifice some animals for such and such reasons but this is forbidden to you these are the false religions of Satan. God has revealed to man with ritual many practical things like how to properly slaughter and cook an animal for food, how to clean and bathe oneself, how to build ships and palaces and even how to read.

All the rituals of God have been geared to educate man. For, there is nothing truly that a man can do or not do, that can take away from or add to the Kingdom of God. God is All-sufficient in Himself.

The Atheist think they can escape the truth,

Say: Think about it, you sit there with your vast knowledge (not kidding) and you go around using your God given creativity and talents and then you enjoy all the benefit of being human and then arrogantly you deny your Ultimate Creator. The truth is you can't even stop something as insignificant as a mosquito from biting you, and in some cases killing you.

Say: You see how God uses parables to make things clear. You should be thankful but how can you be thankful and who can you be thankful to? If there is no God, then there is no one to be grateful to. There is no god but God! You are sitting there breathing not knowing which breath will be your last and after that last breath you assume it will be all over but don’t you know that the Resurrection is True and you will face the judgement? Yes, In the end you will be helpless to thwart off the truth or deny it. Yes, you will be just as helpless as you are now against a tiny mosquito.
