Quote:OK the words sound close. That doesn't prove anything.

What other proof do you want? the Aramaic word for God, is alah and Aramaic is the mother tongue of Jesus Christ. So he was indeed calling Go Alah or Allah, which is the same thing.

By the way, dont worry so much.. calling God Allah will not make you a Muslim :D

Do you as a Muslim love Mohammed more than Christ (taking the position for sake of question that Christ was a prophet and not God)?

Is the love and devotion to Mohammed contained in the Quran?

Only Allah know the answer of your question.

But I think that there are two main differences between the first messages and between the last one.

The first prophets were send only to their people, they depend on the miracles to prove to their people that they are Allah messengers and to convince them believing in the God existance and to submit themselves to the will of this God,but the last prophet was send to his people and to all people come after that,so he did`nt depend mainly on the miracles,He invited the people to use their minds and logic to realise the God existance and to know the truth.

Also the last message should give the people a complet guide to help people going right in the first life.

I think we need the Quran as a last message even the Jews kept Allah and had the Christians not worshiped Christ but accepted him as a prophet of Allah.

Also you quote

"The Jews or Christians never worshipped Allah"

Allah means for muslims "the creator of the universe, did you worship anoher God? and as sister Musleemah said it is not the matter of the name.We all believe and worship the one God who is the Creator of everything and who is the only One worthy of worship.

Quote:That raises an interesting question. If he named Mohammed on the day that Adam was created than Allah must have known about the Jews supposed forgetting of Allah and even the Christians worshiping Christ right? Because, had the Jews kept Allah and had the Christians not worshiped Christ but accepted him as a prophet of Allah then Mohammed may not have been necessary?

I regret my last post was to answer this question,I repeated

Would you please explain why you would use this argument when you don't believe Jesus ever hung on the cross?
