Hajj or Pligrimage is an obligatory prescribed by God Almighty for all believers who are capable or able to afford it physically, financially etc; it is a duty potentially binding on all Muslims as a form of worship due to their Creator. it is the fiifth pillar of Islam.

Followers of Islam who cannot go on a Hajj because of ill health or lack of money are excused from the obligation. but those who can afford Hajj and dont perform it are comminting sin.

Wow... I remember the year when I performed my Hajj the number of pilgrims was about 3.2 million Masha'Allah and they are increasing every year. Allah said the truth when he said to His messenger Abraham pbuh “And proclaim the Hajj among mankind. They will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways” (Surat Al-Hajj: 28).

In order to control this great number of people, the government of Saudi Arabia has to arrange and organize tents, buses, hotels and houses and great efforts they do masha’Allah every year to make Hajj safe. And so they also announce the excepted number that should not be exceeded. So any person willing to perform Hajj should apply as earlier as possible in order to book his place to this blessed journey.

may Allah allow you to be there one day CC. Ameen.
