? about Jews and Israel
#1

"And Musa (Moses) said to his people (Israel): O my people! remember the favor of Allah upon you when He raised prophets among you and made you kings and gave you what He had not given to any other among the nations. O my people! enter the holy land which Allah has prescribed for you and turn not your backs for then you will turn back losers." Sura 5:20-21

Doesn't this say that Israel belongs to the Jews?

Here's another interesting passage from the Koran:

> And thereafter We said to the Children of Israel: Dwell securely

> in the Promised Land. And when the last warning will come to

> pass, We will gather you together in a mingled crowd. Sura 17:104

Apparently, this passage is describing the way Jews from around the world came together in 1947 and founded the modern day state of Israel.

By refusing to acknowledge the existance of Israel, it appears that Muslims are going against the will of Allah.

This is how you people always get the Qur'an's message wrong. the Qur'an is to be taken as whole and not only selective parts to suite what you desire.

ok here is the real story:

these verses (5:19-22) telling us about what took place beterrn Moses pbuh and the Israelites when they were asked to enter the Holy land (palastine), that Allah promised for them. (O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has prescribed for you and do not turn back in your traces, (and) so you turn over as losers" they said, O Moses surely there are people in it (who are) giants, and surely we will never enter it until they leave it. So if they leave it then surely we will be entering")

they disobayed and breached their covenant with Allah as usual and they were consequently punished by Him. (Said He, Then surely it will be PROHIBITED for them for 40 years (while) they go astray in the earth (5:26).
Hence Allah denied them the entering of the holy land for a period of 40 years.

as for chapter 17:103-104

Allah Almighty in the Noble Quran gave the People of Israel two opportunities to elate with might on earth before the Noble Quran was revealed. After the second time came, He the Almighty, sent to them enemies that poured destruction upon them:

"If ye did well, ye did well for yourselves; if ye did evil, (ye did it) against yourselves. So when the second of the warnings came to pass, (We permitted your enemies) to disfigure your faces, and to enter your Temple as they had entered it before, and to visit with destruction all that fell into their power.
(Quran, 17:7)"

"The second doom was due to the rejection of the Message of Jesus. 'To disfigure your faces' means to destroy any credit or power you may have got: the face shows the personality of the man. Titus's destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.C. was complete. He was a son of the Roman Emperor Vespasian, and at the date of the destruction of Jerusalem, had the title of Caesar as heir to the throne. He ruled as Roman Emperor from 79 to 81 A.C.

Merivale in his Romans Under the Empire gives a graphic account of the siege and final destruction (ed. 1890, 7:221-255). The population of Jerusalem was then 200,000. According to the Latin historian Tacitus it was as much as 600,000. There was a famine and there were massacres. There was much fanaticism. The judgement of Merivale is: 'They (the Jews) were judicially abandoned to their own passions and the punishment which naturally awaited them.' (7:221)."

The punishment for the Jews has not ended. Allah Almighty will continue punishing them for all the evil that they cause in life until they repent. Notice that He, the Almighty, said: "but if ye revert (to your sins), We shall revert (to Our punishments).... (Quran, 17:8)"
This means that He, the Almighty, Would repeat history with them and cause them to face destructions again if they don't stop causing mischief and evil here on earth.

Yes but the interpretation of the Bible sometimes are impossible for anyone to accept. and we always end up as "our human brain is not capable of adjusting such things" then why God Almighty revealed things which He knows that His creation will not be able to understand it?

anyway, this is not our topic now. dont let our admin get angry :)

It appears that "the last warning" is also known as "the end times". So according to the Koran, when the end times draw near, Allah will bring the Jews together in Israel.

The fact that the combined armies of all the Arab countries have been unable to defeat Israel in combat (despite numerous attempts) clearly shows that it is the will of Allah that the Jews return to Israel.
