Again...I tread lightly and don't mean to offend...but isn't it the case that in many Muslim areas of the world women would not be permitted to be doctors?

Alright where were we,,,,,, O yes, what is the origin of the forms of worship in today's christianity. Specially, the iimage of Jesus being over the statue when this didnt take place except after his claimed death? why would you go and confess to a priest? who said that he owns the right to grant u forgiveness?
why would u make the cross sign over your chest to pray????
And more.
Let us get back to the topic and pls stay on topic.
I am working on this Muslimah. There are a lot of good questions. Many of them are based on Roman Catholic traditions, and I am not Roman Catholic. I'll get to it soon.

Jazakum Allah khairan wael, not upset at all ataghferu Allah. Never. Great avatar Wael Mash a Allah
Just trying to ensure observing the rules for the benefit of us, members, guests and everyone.
curious, let me elaborate.
Who exactly are u following in the physical movement of your worship, whatever Christian sect it is?
I understand as I said, Protestants dont have statues in their churches, nor do they lend the same level of sanctity to Mary.
But they do hold services, not sure if they use the same procedures, of standing up at some points, then sitting down, then standing up again...etc.
For example, here in Egypt, the Pope or whoever is leading the service, include in their ceremony, holding an enssence burner and doing this among the attendees. Who said that this must be part of the ceremony insie the church during prayer?
Who said, that the church must be built in this manner with a cross topic the dome???
Who said that u take the cross as a symbol for christianity and bestow such sanctity to it?
what is even more important who said that a pope must be glorified in this manner, to the extend that they kneel down before him to receive blessing? Who authorized him to give such blessing? and does this blessing equal the blessings of God?????????????
I have more but let me take it step by step.

To be honest I am not exactly the best person to say why those churches do what they do. Incense isn't a part of worship at my church, neither is statues of Jesus or Mary, kneeling and making the sign of cross.
None of those things are presribed in the Bible as worship, rather they are based on tradition.
What is taught in scripture is prayer, singing of hymns, breaking of bread (communion), reading of the bible and exhortation of the word.

God loves diversity. So, then, there are many ways that humans can worship God.
Some Christians sing, some don't. Some stand during church services, some sit. Some clap their hands, some don't. And so on.
As long as a worship style isn't blasphemous, I think it is OK.

Quote:God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. Genesis 1:31
God didn't make only one type of animal, he made many thousands of types of animals.
God didn't make only one type of plant, He made many thousands of types of plants.
Likewise, God didn't make all humans identical. He gave us different races, different cultures, different languages, different foods, and so on.
It is a mistake to think there is only one correct way to worship God.

Ok, but what are these "ways"? I mean did God reveal to His people the proper 'ways' of worshipping Him? Or He just left them invent the ways they desire?
Any verses from the Bible will be appreciated.
