Ahmed as salam alykom

Brother we ve been knowing each other long enough. U dont need to apologize or be concerned for offending me la hawla wala qowata ila billah. I was being really appreciative of your input. Imagine if I had to do all this on my own specially when Wael is away. This leaves me being the only possible source. Alhamdulelah. Keep it up brother.

Mash a Allah

Shereen O u r back to what u started.

The red lines indicate that the animals were officillay checked by a vet and slaughtered in the official slaughterhouse. One of the gov meaurements to protect public health.

The banner says Buchery of Haj Fathi.

Faris, u keep me amazed everytime u come up with usual pics, I never knew that Amerikan Indians do carry water pots on their heads. I thought this is something execlusive here in Egypt. Mash a Allah I m learning a lot thru this thread.

Assalaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

It's known as 'Government Red Tape"...well ink in this case. So you know its not black-market and its been checked by the Govt. Health Authorities.

However here's something the authorities should be trying to stamp out...

...this is something that is a blemish on the egyptian dinner table.

UUuuuggghhh.

Yuk.

Yep.

Moolookhiya.

They say its the food of kings.

I think its only good for feeding to things with wings.

And the odd Humaar that might pass by.

But as you can see, even the humaar ain't fussed over Moolookhiya.

Jazakum Allah khairan Faris for making me feel ..............one of those with wingssss

I love Mulukhiah, did u try it?

I know most foreigners dont like it. I think I only met about 3 foreigners who loved it, actually I had a number of Abanian revert friends who still yearn for it after been back home, imagine :wavey:

BTW everyone, the humar Faris used means donkey.

Faris note I m doing free translation for u here.... :thumb:

shereen, just to show u a different face of Cairo.

The Nile by night, extremely marvelous and breath taking Sobhan Allah.

And the other pic is Soliman Pasha square, one of the very old squares down town Cairo. U can see the buildings with an old construction style.

Arclight, Insh a Allah I m looking into major construction companies sites to bring the info to u. Hold on :)

As Faris posted a pic of Mulukhia which is the sticks with green leaves behind the fish man, actually this vegetable I think does not grow anywhere else but here. Correct me Faris and Ahmed if i m wrong. Other Arab countries do eat it, like they eat it in Lebanon and Syria but made in a different style.

Another vegetable that does not grow except here is Qulqas

We make it either with tomatoe sauce or green herbs.

Trying my best along with the help of my brothers Ahmed and Faris.

Ahmed BTW imagine I never knew that Muski extends till Hussain, this is news to me
