Bismillah as salam alykom Mash aAllah Dan, :) naseeha, always keep in mind that she is different from you as a man. That is when you will be able to understand her strange attitude at sometimes which may occur due to physiological changes. When you fully realize this, you will not be surprised or puzzled by some situations, but rather understanding and surfing over them. Insh aAllah

dan hehehe point well taken... as for strange attitudes and all that... i'm kinda seein that already but it's all cool i mean i can expect that. thanx for the heads up though... what about things like compromise... i think that's gonna be the hardest... i am very self opiniated... to compromise may be very difficult.... but insha allah

assalaam wa 'aalikum....it has been a very long time....but alhamdulilah i am here....i just wanted to inform fellow bros. and sisters on this website that for the first time i am seeing some improvement in my country concerning muslims...we now have a wonderful,educational and inspiring TV station called (IBN) Islamic Broadcastiing Network....some of you may already have heard about it.....these people are really trying their very best and allaah will surely reward and make them more successful in giving dawah to the citizens of my country...so far i have seen Sheikh Yusef Estes(the bomb man!.....he's cool),Khakid Yasin,Sheikh Zeid, and an indian guy...oh i just forgot his name...anyways.....these persons are really making an impression around the world and i say ALLAHU AKBAR! oh the indian guy's name is Dr.Zakir Naik!.....insha allaah i would like to be part of all this....but i am having problems deciding between school and islamis studies.....i need some help there...i am sure there are others like me...plz advise me....i get so scared hearing about the punishment of Allaah for not obeying him and doing what is required of you...its like a personal conflict ,with yourself. truthfully, i would love to try learning the qur'aan (arabic), and the teachings of the Prophet(saw)..to my family first....then my friends...my community and throughout the world....i want to be like that of the Prophet's wives....humble, learned, respectful, pious and god -fearing......the final day is approaching and i am..as well as many others....are busy attaining their secular degrees and so forth!!!!!!! why? i really dont know.....but i am searching for alot of advice......thanks for reading......alhamdulillah! salaams, Khadeeja Rahimula.

Salam, Congratulations you two, if I haven't said so already. Khadeeja, I know your dilema with studing for a degree and studing Islam. Some times I like to think I am super women. I think I can do my degree and study the Qu'ran all at the same time. I just need to make time for it with out comprimising my degree and Allah. Its a battle but when you think you can do everything it seems okay but you must look at the bigger picture in case you pile to much on your plate. But the study I want to do for the Qu'ran is to first learn Arabic but the classes are so far away and I easly get lost. So I am on a hunt for some Arabic classes closer to home. Those ones seemed to be good cause a Sheik was teaching it. I want to give you some advise on marriage. I recently gave this advise to someone who just got married. Don't walk in front of me I may not follow Don't walk behind me I may not lead Just walk beside me And be my best friend forever. Good luck guys. All my good fortunes to you. Wasalam

U must be very busy.</b> <b>Mubarak for both of u may Allah Protect u and Guide u for the best, may Allah Makes u a comfortable of the eye for each other and grant u pious off spring......sooooon</b> naseeha, as for the compromise thing, when u feel that u r keen on applying your opinion, think of the Messenger salla Allah a`lyhee wa sallam who is the best of mankind, when he used to take his wives opinion and go with it... Remember when he took Umm Salama's opinion on the day they were going for Umra and Quraish prevented them from getting into Mecca. They already had an Ehram status, he accepted their suggestion of coming back next year. But the companions were upset and refused to comply. He went into his tent and consulted umm salama. she adviced him to go outside, shave his hair and slaughter his camel in an indication of removing the Ehram status. He took her advice and the companions followed. Are u better than your beloved Messenger and teacher??? i can hear u say O no NO no . So just rememebr this, give her room, discuss with her, and think she might be right on this or that..... O I m so happy for both of u

YAAAYYYYYY HEY EVERYONE... HERE IS MY KHADEEJA WELCOME KHADEE.... GLAD TO SEE YOU HERE..... Thank you very much for the advice muslimah... my fear was that i become some kinda husband that is unfair to his wife without knowing it... i soo dont want to mess this up.... I love her toooo much.. Simple human emotions can cause joys and at the same time it can cause horrors.... i'm just afraid of the horrors... |
