Light or common sense? :)

The christians and the bible both say Jesus is the son of God, one of three. Father, son and holy ghost. And when pressed both the bible and christians say he is God.

Hmm, well IMHO this is down to misinterpretation. God made us and everything around us, therefore we are a part of God, if you get what I mean, I'm not implying we are God. So technically Jesus is God, but not in the literal sense, but some,seem to have taken it that way.

Is that copy/pasted from the net? If so it could be that who ever typed it got it wrong. The problem with the net, is while its a great source for information, and exchange of idea's (its also handy for doing the shopping online B) ), it does seem to have led to a lowering of standards in the English language. I'm not perfect, but I do try to keep it right. One of my biggest pet peeve's is American spelling that seems to be creeping in everywhere in the UK. 'Practise' instead of 'Practice', and 'Defense' instead of 'Defence' etc.


Then again, English has always been a very fluid language, constantly changing over time. I've seen some books that are about 500-600 years old, and I struggled to understand a word of it. :)

Fine archlight, then I will leave it as is, I do respect members' opinion Alhamdulelah. Before u ask Alhamdulelah is Praise be to Allah, or more specifically Thanks to Allah, but the word Hamd is more than just thanks. It is showing gratitude, thanking, Praising..etc.

It might be worth putting a glossary of terms on this board. It is the non-muslim section afterall, and if I keep scratching my head trying work some of them out I won't have much hair left :)
