The month of Dhul-Hijja


O you whose heart is as dark as the night,


is it not time that your heart was filled with light and bacame soft?


Expose yourself to the gentle breeze of your Lords mercy during these 10 days of Hajj, for Allah will cause this breeze to touch whomever he wills


and whoever is touched by it will be happy in the hereafter.

Volume 1, Book 3, Number 59:


Narrated Ibn 'Umar:


The Prophet said, "Amongst the trees, there is a tree, the leaves of which do not fall and is like a Muslim. Tell me the name of that tree." Everybody started thinking about the trees of the desert areas. And I thought of the date-palm tree. The others then asked, "Please inform us what is that tree, O Allah's Apostle?" He replied, "It is the date-palm tree."

Hazrat Abu Huraira(R.A) told of Allah,s messanger(S.A.W) comming to the cemetry and saying,"peace be upon you,beleiving ones,and if Allah wills we shall join you.I wish we had seen our brethren."He was asked,are we not your brethren, messenger of Allah"?and replied,"you are my companions.our bretren are those who have not yet been born". they asked,how will you recognise those members of those who have not yet have been born,messanger of Allah"?


He said,Tell me,suppose a man had horses with white blazes and white marks on their legs among horses which are pure black,would he not recognise his own horses?"They replied,'certainly ,messsanger of Allah."He said,"They willcome with white faces and legs owing to ablution,and I will arrive at the Tank(Hauz-e-Kausar)before them

Hadith for the Day : (Riyadus Saaliheen)


Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger


of Allah (PBUH) said, "When a Muslim or a believer washes his face


(in thecourse of Wudu'), every sin he has committed with his eyes is


washed away from his face along with water, or with the last drop of


water;when he washes his hands, every sin they wrought is erased from


his hands with the water, or with the last drop of water; and when he


washes his feet, every sin towards which his feet walked is washed away


with water, or with the last drop of water, with the result that he


comes outcleansed of all sins".


[Muslim].


The Prophet (PBUH) said "Pass on knowledge from me even if it is


only one verse"

"Say: Shall We inform you about those who will lose most in respect to their actions? Those whose efforts have been wasted in the life of this world, whilst they thought that they were doing good actions." [soorah al- Kahf 18:103-104].

The Prophet (Sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said,"A Dinar (a currency) that you spend on your family, a Dinar that you spend on a poor person and a Dinar that you spend in the sake of Allah. The one that carries the most reward is the one that you spend on your family." [Muslim]

The poet said:


"If a man is wise and fears Allah,


This will keep him too busy to concern himself with the faults of others,


Just as the weak and sick person is concerned with his own pain


To think of the pain of others."

The Prophet(Sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said to Saaid ibn Abi Waqqas,"Know that no charity that you give whether small or large, for the sake of Allah, but you will be rewarded for it, even the morsel (of food) that you put in your wife's mouth." [bukhari & Muslim]
