Sorry Alfredo I missed the most important point.

if you all were oblivous to Islam and didn't know it exsisted, would we all be christians?

Let me tell u we are all born Muslims alfredo, and Allah Sends His Message throughout time without any interruption.

BTW all Prophets and Messengers never called for anything but Islam it is the only religion called for since Adam till Mohamed salla Allah a`lyhem wa sallam

masha'Allah sister Muslimah may Allah reward you for the efforts, but you have missed another point:)

Quote:did gabireal show himself to any others?

as sister Muslimah said, Jebreel's responsibility was to bring down the revelation from Allah Almighty to the Messenger Muhammad peace be upon him and to ALL other previous messengers as well, so all other prophets have communicated with Jebreel. also some of the companions of the prophets have seen jebreel in the form of a man. and there is a hadith to support this.

actually Alfredo there was no need for anyone to witness the events in which Jebreel have visited and deliver the revelation to Muhammad peace be upon him, because even before his prophethood Muhammad peace be upon him was known among his people as the Truthful , the Honest so no one could ever doubt about his message except those who are arrogant.

keep on asking man dont worry we are for it Insha'Allah.

Now more on Allah's Names and Attributes.

Allah as I explained Has many Names and Attributes of the known to us for example, The All Pardon, thru this Attribute we must as human being pardon each other. Only if we think that the Creator Pardons us, we must keep in mind that we can as well just pardon each other. Like wise, Allah's Mercy is of a magnitude that can never be realized thru the human mind, of this Mercy Allah Sent to earth only like 1%. Of this one percent, a she donkey lifts her feet up not to step on her child. Of this Mercy, parents are kind to their children, mankind is kind to animals, ..etc. Likewise, for example when an individual adopts a tayrant attitude towars others, Allah Manifest thru His Attribute One Who Humiliates to humiliate this individual. Astaghferu Allah I never like to make a judgment but just look at Saddam Hussain and how he ended up.

Glory be to Allah the All Mighty the Only One Deity Worthy to worship

What happens if you leave islam ?

Quote:Well, i wouldnt say i have converted. I have dismissed every religon but catholsim and islam as the truth, and am torn between the two. On one hand, islam draws me in for its scientific facts and the bibles lack there of scientific facts, but i dont think the bible was ment to be written as a science book, but as a book to show the lifes of the prophets and the son of man. It is a beautiful book, the underlining theme being that man has free will and continues to fall back onto the wrong path, but god is always there, for his love for us is great. And my love for him certainly is underscriable.

Now the Koran, please, dont take this as an offense, my muslim brothers and sisters, although the book itself is extremley intersting, i can't get the thought out of my head that it was simply created my Mohammed to solidify his kingdom i mean, if people think you are a prophet, surely they will join you. And that he was illterate, there was no number system back then so he had to have known the letters in the alaphbet if he was a merchant. And that you have to pray towards mecca, that is some sort of worship.

Peace Alfredo

No one is going to be offended Alfredo, if u dont speak up your mind how can we reply with the Aid of Allah to receive proper info that settles your confusion?

U can talk anything u like for us to explain Insh aAllah

U brought up an excellent point actually.

Quran was never authored by human beings, was revealed to Mohamed Salla Allah A`lyhee wa sallam from Allah thru Jebreel. How can u confirm this?

leave alone the scientific facts which can not be brought in except thru the Creator since it involves things which were not known at the time..

But in any given book, if the author wants to stress his identity and ensure others to place him in a high rank, he will never include in the book admonishion to him personally. The book will never say that he will die just like other human being.

Insh aAllah I will give u a number of links to look at starting with the point I was just talking about:

http://www.islamsms.com/en/modules.php...article&sid=100

The next two links are related to different approach:

http://www.islamsms.com/en/modules.php...article&sid=216

http://www.islamsms.com/en/modules.php...article&sid=162

i prefer not to give u much info just look at those links and Insh aAllah come back for more questions if u feel so..

John if someone leaves Islam Islam shall remain Islam and Allah Shall Remain Allah The Eternal

Quote:i dont think the bible was ment to be written as a science book,

also the Qur'an is not a book os Science, but it is indeed a Book of <b>S-I-G-N-S</b>.. there are more than 6000 verses in the Holy Qur'an, only about 1000 verses deals with science and Alhamdulelah all of them ( i mean all the scientific facts which has been already established) matching with modern science discoveries.

just point to ponder Alfredo

Salam Alfredo,

I agree with you - IF we are not allowed to raise questions we will never get anywhere when searching for knowledge. So you are on the right way.

I will for now just add what you mentioned, that we 'worship Mecca' when praying in that direction.

You could read what Ibn Kathir says about this matter

''The wisdom behind changing the Qiblah'' http://www.tafsir.com/default.asp?sid=2&tid=3940 and the following page after that.

Since it explains WHY we always turn towards Mecca when we pray. So it has nothing to do with worshipping Mecca. I hope you will understand the difference when reading this inshaAllah.

Salam
