Saudi State Executed 6 Somalis Outside The Law





The Saudi Kingdom of Saudi Arabia brutally slaughtered like sheep six young Somali men without due process of law in the port city of Jeddah last Friday of April first 2005. The Interior ministry said that the Somalis were caught while in the process of robbery and piracy in which they wanted to seize a Taxi but the Saudi government had failed to produce any hard evidence in this regard or allow the young Somali men to have access to legal representation.


It is not clear what legal procedures or justice system the Saudis had applied because in accordance with Islam, you cannot kill people without due process of law and you cannot certainly execute people on unproven and dubious grounds. In the cases of robbery etc, the death penalty does not apply on Islamic jurisprudence. So it will be interesting to know what justice systems the Saudi state had applied to finish off the young Somalis.


Somalis at home and around the globe were saddened and dismayed by the cruel and heartless action taken by the Saudi state against 6 Somali men who were virtually refugees in Saudi Arabia.


To conclude, the Saudi state must give believable explanations as to why they executed the 6 Somali youths without fair and open trial. Similarly, the Saudis must alter their aggressive and merciless policies against the Somali people who happen to be in their country for whatever reason otherwise relations between the two peoples and nations will be severely damaged. This does not mean that the law should be overlooked but the manner in which the Saudi police and the security apparatus behave and deal with foreigners is most barbaric, uncivilised and utterly inhumane to say the least.


If I were the president of Somalia, I would have severed all relations with the Saudi government until they apologised and changed their bad treatments against the Somali people. The Saudis must understand the values of human dignity, the importance of God given life and the sacrosanct of God's justice.

Sobhan Allah the law there is very clear regarding to theft, hand cut, and applied in public on Fri.


I am really surprised for this brutal action.


May Allah Accept those who died in the best manner, may Allah improve all Muslim leaders to really observe Allah's limits while dealing with their fellow Muslims.

When I first read this on the web I really felt sick to my stomach, not just coz of the images and the story but how those Saudis claim that they have the shariah there and do still everything that the shariah goes against. If they did follow the shariah, wouldn't have killed those poor guys unjustly. Coz I know the Prophet (pbuh) said if someone steals they should cut off their hand NOT the head.


may Allah bring back islam to the Holly land, ameen.

I am not trying to defend the regime here, but I just want us to wait till they come up with an explanation if they do, so that we dont make pre mature judgments.


As far as I understand yes they have some situations where they go off limits. But at the same time, I saw the Sharia being applied there of course the shortcomings come from human beings.


I also know that they have some discrimination in regard to other nationalities versus Saudis. I really dont like to bring bad news in public, but my intention is not so, my intention is just explaining.


I remember when i went for Haj like 13 years ago, I was right inside the haram, I was harrased by a Saudi male who just run away after he did harrase me of course knowing what he could be exposed to.


I sought help of a Saudi guard inside the Haram while the guy was still in sight and could be easily captured. But he refuesed to go after him telling me that is ok. Just go on.


But then Mash a Allah the female Saudi guards responsible to keep security within the women section came to him shouting and telling him in face if she was a Saudi would u have behaved like this? they told me come will take u to the superior to report this guard not only the man.


I said I am right inside the house of the Super Superior and I report both.


But I was really touched by the women's honesty. So Yasmeen good is still there.


Let us wait I am hoping they come up with an explanation la hawla wala qowata ila billah


I mean even if they were stealing, if the theft is proved khalas. Just take them and apply the Had.


O ya Allah Help us and make us better Muslims

Unbelievable. They murder 6 Somali men and even if it is true that they robbed the taxi drivers (we still don't know if that is true) according to the Shariah they should cut their hands and not their heads. More unbelievable instead of condemning this so called Royal Family that not only took by force the two holiest cities in Islam but also stole the whole country and named after their own family name. My question is how a thief can condemn another thief to death when they actually usurped the land in the first place. Even if they were thieves they should have gotten the right punishment.


All the 36 people executed this year, and all the ones executed the years before were foriengers (Mostly Africans and Asians)


The shariah is only applied to those less fortunate, while the ruling Arab nobility is immune of any such swift Shariah justice.


I would not want to live in that so-called "holy" land.


Muslimah they do worse to immigrants, I don't expect any explanation from them. They do more horrible things. They've done worse.


May Allah destroy that fraudulent bigoted Kingdom!

Intuition, just look at the incident from another angle. Alhamdulelah I always do.


For exmple in my case, Allah Allowed me a remarkable chance to be under an unjust situation, where? right at Ka`ba. Can u immagine.


Ok I tried to remove the unjust myself. But Allah Didnt Allow me too, at this point Alhamdulelah I take the status of Mazloum. Do u know what that means? it means that there is not barrier between my dua and Allah, it means that Allah Swears Himself to take my revenge and grant me victory even after a while as He say.


Like wise those men. If they were really involved in a theft problem, but being subjected to an unjust murder Insh aAllah Allah washed them off their sin. if they were killed in cold blood without a right, they are Insh a Allah Accepted by Allah on a different level. Can u see that they are not unfortunate but rather fortunate.


Let those who wish to carry others rights over their shoulders do.


Just dont make dua that u dont want to live in the so called, because it is Alhamdulelah a Holy land.


May Allah Grant u to visit the Kab`a sister, u dont know how it feels when u see it.


O Allah Protect your land from any transgression ameen

Just on a side note, I share every bit of rejection with u, but just make a comparison, as u said they usurped the land and called it after their name. Take in consideration that they are originally natives of the country as well.


how about those who usurped a land that was not theirs, place high restrictions on the native, kill them, their women and children. And thus the natives in return resorted to martyrdom operations???

Is the present Saudi Kingdom legitimate in the eyes of Islam? Where did this ' King' come from? Where did the 'Kingdom of Saudi' originate from? Were they present at the times of the Prophet? I don't call to mind reading an iota about any Kings present in Arabia during Rasulullah's times.


I remember reading that the present Saudi Family were appointed by the British to rule the Arabian peninsula as their stooge < pardon the language but when you come to reflect on it, that's what they seem to be.


Rasulullah SaLaLahu Alaihi wasalam laboured to rid the holy lands from the kuffars and succeeded doing so until the Saudi Family of 'Kings' came into being.


In material contributions, the Saudi Family have enlarged and upgraded the two Holy Mosques and done so much for Muslims elsewhere around the world by building masjids and giving contributions to Muslim institutions worldwide but sadly they have failed to see that Arabia needs a Khalifah not a King.


The entire ummah needs a Khalifah to lead us to a better future.


Imagine the tremendous power and wealth of the Muslims if all the present so-called Muslim nations were to come unite under one banner. It will be the strongest nation on earth. One banner proclaiming 'La ila ha illallah Muhammadar Rasulullah. Just one ruling body, overseeing administration of the Muslim lands, just one passport, one army, one nation of Islam, Will this ever come to be?


Muslimah, I want to go to haj insha'Allah but I don't want to live there. I love the city of medina when I was very young, my grandmother used to tell me such beautiful stories of madina. My grandmother lived in madina for over 30 years she died there.

Intuition u know what I am glad I pushed your button, dont make this face, yes I am u know why? because u put this post to explain the above of what u posted Mash a Allah.


Every word u put is true, me I didnt know about them being appointed by the British.


I still hold to my words regarding the wisdom of Allah behind every situaiton though, of course this is still appicable. But Alhamdulelah u r right, if we put our wealth together and push aside personal interests we would have been on another level now.
