I come from a country where racial tension in very high...


it determines alot of things.... even who sits as the head of the government.... even now... in my country there is a stigma that "black muslims" are just gangstas.... but this is fading.... among the youth.....


It still exists among the older heads... but the youth are taking a different route...


Now i have read all the above quotes and realised something.... There is a common trend..... Go back and read the quotes above.. and you will realise that in almost every one of them... the aayah.. or hadith is half quoted.... When a kaafir launches an intellectual or moral attack on islam...they quote one aspect of it and then COMPLETELY CONVENIENTLY FORGET to mention the rest... which may very well contain the essence of the matter.... SUBHANALLH.....


If as muslims we were to take information like this then we would be in a seriously bad state.... For instance...


We say that this one word "raisin" struck us soo much.... why not... get the whole story... why not ask about the prophet's attitude towards blacks....


Why is it that in this entire thread i have not heard mention of the prophet's question to the black abyssinian slave bilaal "WHAT IS IT THAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR ME TO HEAR YOUR FOOTSTEPS IN JANNAH" after he came back from the <b>mi'raj</b>... such a landmark in islamic history. Maybe it is mentioned above but i overlooked it.....


You see... if i were to say something... like "I hate the whites of the eggs" and someone sent out an email saying :

then i would appear to be racist when in truth and in fact i am talking about eggs.....


The point brothers and sisters is this.... All men are equal in the sight of allah... except in righteousness..... Specifically, (EVEN IN THE TIME OF OUR RASUL)... black men held a very noble role Bilaal is only one example..... what about the first hijrah... when the sahaabas went before a wise black king.... hmmmmm!!!!!!! Anya... i wonder why they didnt quote this in their email......

I edited Anya's post and just numbered the points to make it easier for whoever would like to take part in this effort.


As we need to cover the points, since these are issues raised here and dont forget the major reward anyone would gain for addressing the points and coming up with the proper info about it. You know Malcolm X better than me I heard you speak about him many times. Who was malcolm X? He was a racist fanatic (AstafuruAllah) why did someone like him accept islam?

That brother is my hero, yes i've read the speech and i'm so glad he accepted real Islam. However i know he only accepted the real Islam in the final month (s) of his life, i don't know if he got to the parts of the Hadith where he is called a raisin head. It took me 6 months to find for myself, so i very much doubt he came across that, knowing his views on race. Read fully about Malcolm X and you will see what i mean. When you read the Hadith for yourself...it leaves a bad taste. Although The Prophet PBUH wasn't talking about Black people such as Malcolm, more the darker kind i would suspect. Like me and my daughter, who look like raisins, or maybe coal heads, lumps of coal are dark?


I'll kindly ignore the person who implied being called a Raisin head was a compliment because they are smooth or something. Sigh...banging my head against a wall. Where are the Muslims like me? Allah would not punish for genuine questions. I do everything as good as i possibly can, even upping my prayers over the months of reading through these things...not just race other things which blatantly dont make sense, this all stemmed from Allah SWT allowing soldiers to 'have intercourse' with females whos just been captured after war. I don't kid myself if things dont look right, is this what we're supposed to do.


Who ever asked for where i got my hadith from, i've been told by Muslims the link below is a good place to read through the Hadith. Better be, i've been reading through it past few months, found a heap of disturbing things but....ah well. Read everywhere else except here first, but i'm glad i'm doing it.


I know theres some out there who look into things a bit deeper and have found things unusual. Please feel free to PM me to discuss things outside of the depressingly rigid responses on the board, it helps.

I suppose you mean me since I am the one trying to describe how I understand the shape of a raisin, and I did already clerify that I do not see the connection between black people and raisains, I asked YOU more or less how you comprehend this connection, but you did not notice this question or you choose not to answer it, Allah Oalem.


But just again to clarify what I wrote when you now choose to ignore me, it is truly up to you brother, I will still be here as your sister and will stay by your side and try to do what I can to help you inshaAllah, ''A raisin is not equaly round and smooth, it is dent (if that is the right word). And furthermore, where I live, I have only seen raisins in a very light yellow or golden color...'' I was looking for the logical connection between black and raisin, since my common sense tells me there are none.

Now I was not going to make a personal reply to u, since the real aim on the thread is to cover the points u raised for the benefit of all, but then made much thinking and supplication to Allah.


I wonder why u r calling the replies on the board rigid and depressing? is it because it didnt conform to your findings? Sobhan Allah, sorry for this but this is illogic. Didnt u see that one of the Ayahs is even quoted wrongly? is this rigid and depressing?


Is it because u found out that items u brought are not correct? except for the raisin head hadeeth which my sisters already explained and Insh aAllah I have more to say about?


If u r not satistisifed with the replies or does not make sense to u I will simply quote u on another thread agreeing with Dan for being frustrated with members who dont understand the point and insist on their position.


Of course Allah Does not punish for genuine questions, but when the questions are already answered clearly, then it is up to the person to accept or just keep standing on his/her position.
