The way I see it - You have answered yourself


For example - Christians don't believe in Allah (one God), but in Trinity.


Jews, by overwhelming majority' follow "The Talmud", which has no concept of Allah (one God), but is filled with hatred towards every creation - even the Jews - plus the Jews don't believe that the evil among them would be "resurrected" in the HereAfter to recieve punishment! Maybe, that's why the Israeli Jews have been acting worse than Christian Nazis

I do agree here with Rehmat on the point that you seem to have answered your own questions - BUT maybe you do no understand the answers?


The first true believers in Allah, SWT did not just pop up during the time when Islam entered into the world. BUT since then, YES the only thing that will be accepted as a belief before Him is Islam. He has been very clear on this point.


So YES people that lived BEFORE Islam and followed the religion of Allah, SWT and the Prophet's guidance that He sent to different nations and people and times, AND that SUBMITTED to the Message they got, were also true followers.


But today and for the last 1400 years and for all the years to come, the only true Message has been and will be Islam and the only true Prophet to came to guide us to it, is the Prophet Muhammad, saws. And that is based on the knowledge revealed to us by Allah, SWT, that there will be no more Message from Him and no other Prophet.

Perhaps you could read the Qur'an - I think you will find the answers there.


It is only Allah, SWT that knows where everyone will end up.


The Qur'an gives very clear guidelines for us WHAT we have to do if we are interested in spending eternity in Paradise. That is the easy way.


The words Muslim, Christian or Jew will not give you the key to Paradise. These are just words for us to try to understand who is who. So the words are not criteria for the passport to Paradise. It is your belief, action and deeds that are.

Now here is the answer for Muslims and non-Muslim readers. All the people before the Prophethood of Muhammad (pbuh) - Who believed in the TRUE Message of God (Moses' Law - Toraiat) and subsequent Scrpture revealed to David, Jesus, etc. - and FOLLOWED them - They COULD escape Hell by the Mercy of Allah.


However, historicaly speaking - The Christians who followed St. Paul and the Jews who refused to accept Jesus (as) as God's Messenger - MUST be ready to pay their dues
