A Common Problem I Notice Alot Lately.....

No prob Umm u may go off topic we all do sometimes [Image: smile.gif][Image: cool.gif]

Insh aAllah I am going to write this story from the top of my mind, not copied from a site, because I am in hurry to post it. Then I will Insh aAllah confirm the contents. I was in hurry to post it. So pls forgive me.

Zainab the senior (because there is Zainab junior who was Fatimah's daughter) was married to Al A`as, both were very much in love with each other. After her father immigrated to Medina, she continued living with her other two sisters, Ruqqiyah and Umm Kulthoum in Mecca with their husbands. Quraish (the tribe of the Messenger Salla Allah A`lyhee wa sallam) planned in order to keep Mohamed Salla Allah A`lyhee wa sallam busy with family problems to push husbands of the three daughters to divorce them. They even tempted them by offering marriages to more beautiful and better social status women. Two of them agreed, but not Al A`as who loved Zainab so much and told them I will never find a better or more beautiful woman than Zainab. When the Messenger Salla Allah A`lyhee wa sallam heard this he said best of the son in laws is Al A`as. Al A`as was among those who were captured during the battle of Badr, while his wife was still back in Mecca.

Each one from the immigrants who had a relative among the captives sent a ransom to free the person. Except Al A`as nobody did. But his loving wife never forgot about him. In order to soften her father’s heart she sent him a necklace that was given to her by her late mother Khadija as a present upon her marriage. Knowing how much her father loved Khadija and respected her memory, she took this approach in order to redeem her beloved husband. Her father looked at the necklace and his eyes were filled with tears, he told the people if u wish u may free her captive and if u wish u may return back her money. The Muslims did free Al A`as and gave her back the necklace.

Mohamed Salla Allah A`lyhee wa sallam sat him free and asked him to allow his daughter to immigrate to Medina to rejoin with him. Al`Aas agreed. He even planned her trip by hiring a guide who knows very well the route to Medina. He put her under cover at night to start her journey. At that time, she was pregnant. But Quraish found out about this secret trip. They attacked her and her guide. They pushed her towards a large rock that she miscarried. She went bakk home until he healed and then took off again for the trip. She joined her father and remained there. later on Ala`as headed a trade caravan and was responsible about large amounts of money that people from Quraish trusted him for. While going back, Muslims were commanded to attack the caravan and take it over. Allah Granted them victory and a number of members of the caravan ran away, of them was Ala`as. He turned to Zainab to help him get back the money.

She accepted to provide him protection. She even announced this next morning after people finished prayer. But at that very special moment the father went into his daughter’s room and directly told her, daughter be very kind to him during his stay, but u can not take him as a husband no more. Allah forbade in His holy book for a Muslim woman to be the wife of a non Muslim. The daughter was bitter but she said yes father. Then the Messenger salla Allah a`lyhee wa sallam made it clear to the companions that it is their choice if they want to give him back his money or keep it as spoils. They chose to give it back.

Al A`as returned back to Mecca, went to a high place where they usually call people when they need to make announcecments, he called each person who trusted him with money in the caravan. He returned back all the trusts he had. Then asked if there was any more liabililites he is holding towards anyone. People said no that he did fulfill all his liabilities.

At this moment, he said now I can say Ash hadu anna la ilaha ila Allah wa anna Mohamadan rasullullah. He explained that if he said that while he was still a captive in Medina or even after being freed people would take it that he was scared of Mohamed Salla Allah A`lyhee wa sallam or wanted to take the money and run away. But now as he is totally free of all liability with no force over him, he is admitting it willingly.

Then he left back to Medina to rejoin with his beloved wife, whom the Messenger Salla Allah A`lyhee wa sallam gave back to him thru either a new or same contract of marriage, they lived together for one year before Zainab became very ill and died.

Well I love this story, I love reading it, telling it, and remembering it every time I go thru any difficulty.

Shaunee I am here with good news for u, sorry I am late, sorry if there are new events that happened on other posts which I did not read, but Our scholar confirmed what was in the fatwa by scholar Qaradawi, and he said that u must inform him that u became a muslim and stay with him for the period of time mentioned 3 months i think and try to call him to Islam peacfully and convince him the same way that u were convinced, then if after these 3 months pass and he was not convinced then sorry to say [Image: rolleyes.gif] that u must leaave him and go to a mosque and ask their help for such a situation and maybe they will be of aid in helping u to show him the right way, maybe if he sees that u left him then he will know that your relegion is devine and true and that u will not leave him for just wanting to, maybe he will reconsider and try to learn the truth.

I will tell u a true event that happened to one young Kuwaity youth I know, as u know there are many muslims who are muslims by name, he did not use to pray, he used to go to movies smoke follow girls an all that stuff, but then a car accident happened to him with his friend and his friend almost died, the car kept turning maybe 3 or 4 times before settling on its back his friend was thrown from the car bleeding, with no movement at all and he thought that he was dead. That was a sign from Allah for him to wake up, so he did, he left everything, even his friends who are very close to him, his friends since childhood, because he chose Allah Subhanahu Wa T'ala, and he chose to walk on the right path, his friends tried a lot to pull him back but he was determined "I want to die a true muslim" he said, "u will not be more dear to me than Allah The Great". His friends were very sad to lose him, so they told him okay teach us what u learnt and insha'Allah we will learn, now they are all true muslims who go to the Mosque 5 times daily, and whenever they have time and opputunity they go to Ummra, and they are more closer to Allah, so c his determination helped his friend as well [Image: smile.gif]. So why don't u try that, but after those 3 months pass. I hope this will help u shaunee, and sorry for being late in answering, and again may Allah guide your husband to the right path, and u r always on my mind and I am always praying for u dear.

Well this is good news!!!! I was just thinking today about how it would be so much easier to explain all I need to say in a letter to my husband, this way he doesn't cut me off in the middle of talking, and I get my whole point across at once, and he can be alone to think about it, and we'll see what happens.

Thank you all sooooo soooo much for helping me with this problem. I'm sure it's going to work out just fine. It helps me to think that my problems are so tiny and small compared to God, so how much trouble could this possibly be right? It could be a really simple one if you look at it in a different perspective..... so...... I'm optomistic, I think everything is going to be fine. And what makes this even better timing, is that our anniversary is coming in only ONE WEEK, so maybe around that time while he's being all nice to me and stuff would be a good time.

We'll soon see! Thanks again!!! [Image: biggrin.gif][Image: biggrin.gif][Image: biggrin.gif][Image: biggrin.gif]

I echo Radiyah's words, I am all up to the letter idea, excellent and bright one Shaunee [Image: smile.gif] Alhamdulelah. Sometimes, writing is much easier and letting the other party read and ponder, gives it even a more insightful enviornment. Sometimes facing with words allows satan to interfer.

I strongly advice u before writing the letter to offer 2 raka`a prayer asking Allah for support and guidance, asking Allah to be inspired with the proper wording. Putting the whole issue in His Hands. I know u r but Allah Loves those who confirm the intention with the deed. In other words, action speaks louder than words. So act so that Allah Insh a Allah Provides u with amazing support Shaunee.

Also before writing the letter ask Allah for the protection of u and your husband against satan. U must be aware that now satan is not happy at all with your position and certainly will try to make things difficut.

I know u r sooooo new but I will post transiletration of Ayahtul korsi which is a protection against satan. Take time to recite it before writing the letter.

I am not sure if u started praying and learning all what u need as a New Muslimah.

But u may refer to Anya's thread as he adviced u for necessary things to begin.

and pls keep us posted.
