You really added light to our forum since you joined, keep up the good work. and Mubarak for the most profound decision you made in your life. How long have you been a Muslim by the way, if you don't mind me asking?

Assalamu'alaikum, thank-you very much for your kind words. I am usually very quiet but then when something really hits a nerve - you really can't get me to stop expressing myself! (lol)

Alhamdulilah i have been a muslim since the spring of 1995. Just last year I married a fine muslim man from Jordan. I had a very strong christian faith until one fateful day Allah led me to Islam. Having a strong faith in Allah (God) my heart was open to guidance. I think there is a verse saying that Allah guides whom He wills. . .

I think having an open mind to accept that there are differences in the world, (and I don't me the immediate surrounding world that some people think encompass all), can open peoples hearts to understand the words of Allah.

well, i will go for now. I am very curious to see more on the Bin Laden thread because obviously the world is in turmoil over this mans actions. I personally believe this was his original intentions and i am not one to judge, because i firmly believe Allah guides all things in this world - good and bad - for reasons we may never know.

salaam

I have found that mostly ppl who become muslims are people who try to search for the truth ! Mostly I've met reverts who were devout christians, or devout hindus before. that was just my experience [Image: smile.gif] .. May Allah guide us All [Image: biggrin.gif] ameen

I think as muslims we should be careful not to cast nasturtiums willy-nilly. This particularly applies to the OBL 9/11 Controversy.

[i:6fae25b187]"I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States. As a Muslim, I try my best to avoid telling a lie. I had no knowledge of these attacks, nor do I consider the killing of innocent women, children and other humans as an appreciable act. Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people. Such a practice is forbidden even in the course of a battle.".....[/i:6fae25b187]OBL (see post one in thread above)

[b:6fae25b187]O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for suspicion in some cases is a sin: And spy not on each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, ye would abhor it...But fear Allah: For Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful. 49:12[/b:6fae25b187]

We as muslims are in the midst of a big fitnah and our eimaan is being sieved.

[b:6fae25b187]Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, "We believe", and that they will not be tested? 29:02[/b:6fae25b187]

There are many clear Ayat warning us not to take the Kafir as Auliya. When you open your english Qur'an tafsir one of the definitions of an Auliya is an adviser. So if you're going to take the word of Dubya and company (look at their record) over a muslim...hhhmmm.

Particularly regards one who has walked away from a half billion dollar duunya lifestyle to sleep in the mud and cold damp caves........for Allah S/T.

In the Interview with Bin Laden he denies he had anything to do with 9/11. He goes on to say that Allah would not approve of killing innocent people.

Why then do we have multiple audio tapes, letters and video tapes of Bin Laden praising the happenings of 9/11. All of those innocent people fall to the hand of a hipocrite.

I guess they have the intellignece to find the tapes and docs, but not to find Osama or Saddam and his chemical weapons as of yet, right? [Image: wink.gif]
