Importance Of Beard
#11

Quote:Assalamu aleikum brother Anyabwile,
I want to ask you if I can use some of your words that you wrote, they are very funny  [Image: smile.gif] ? Without revealing who you are of course, just pick some of the words out, and write them down on an Swedish web-site where I am involved in discussions with a lot of people, NONE of them Muslims - not yet anyway  [Image: dry.gif] . Just to point out also that there is a male side of Muslims too and not only a women side!

Wasalam your sister in Islam

Umm of course you can use my words, you don't need to ask take what you want when you want. If you really want to use my humble words than i thank Allah for directing me to write something in there you like. Can i ask what it's for, just being nosey? Is it a debate? They better not be stressing out my sister!

Yes my faith has grown Allah has shown me so much, and opened my eyes so wide. It's only through Allah that i am here as i am now, and i am so grateful. I can't wait for my future life as a Muslim following Allah i've got so much im looking forward too.

The beard is thin and wispy at the moment, dont let me deceive you, i only feel a true Muslim when it is thick and full, like the prophet. That day will come soon. Step by step right [Image: biggrin.gif]

Assalamu aleikum brother,

Thank you for giving your consent to use your words. MashaAllah Allah, SWT, is always directing us to use also words in the best way.

Yes brother it is a debate, really a Christian web-site, but most of the people visiting are not followers of Christianity, most of them are seekers. And at this site there is a thread about some other religions, among them Islam, and since I found it empty when I entered into this forum, I have been filling it up with different issues of Islam. The fundamentals. And I have noticed, also some of the people in this forum have admitted, that they have not a clue what Islam really is. So far I have found only one that has prejudices, but most of them are just ignorant, and some seems willing to learn more. One man wrote yesterday, that the more he reads or hear about the Qur'an (I am here and there in suitable places giving them some insight of the beautiful verses of the Qur'an) the more he likes it.

Thank you for your concern brother, they are not stressing me out. [Image: rolleyes.gif] I hope I will 'stress' them out instead, inshaAllah. I have the best Guide with me, and they are, for now, totally missing the Guidance of the Supreme.

Go slowly and strong InshaAllah,

Ooops! I just realised i didn't log out my work PC yesterday! Lucky no one posted on here as my name while i was at home. Good luck in showing them the pure route. I know how stubborn i was so for non belivers it takes some work. Now Allah has shown me, everyone i speak to i try to drop a little knowledge of Islam, just to get them curious and then InshaAllah they will open the right doors. One day when my knowledge of Islam is richer i can't wait to spread the ways of the prophet and Allahs words. Still learning at the moment though. [Image: unsure.gif]

U will keep on learning till the day u die, all of us we are always ignorant and have not mush Ilm except the one offered to us by Allah. [Image: smile.gif]

Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem:

85. And they ask you (O Muhammad ) concerning the Rûh (the Spirit); Say: "The Rûh (the Spirit): it is one of the things, the knowledge of which is only with my Lord. And of knowledge, you (mankind) have been given only a little."
17, Al-Isra

255. Allâh! Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter . And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursî extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. [This Verse 2:255 is called Ayat-ul-Kursî.]
2,Al-Baqara

So welcome to the neverending teachings and learning. there is a hadeeth by the Prophet Sala Allah 'Alayhi wa salam in which he says:" Ask for Ilm from the day u r born till the day u die." I dont have the original hadeeth now i hope i will find it later [Image: smile.gif]

Jazaky Allah khayr UMM I can c your contribution everywhere, may Allah aid u and be your guidance and assistance [Image: smile.gif]

Asalaamu Alikum wa rhamatuhallahi wa barakatuh Brothers,

I agree with you lifutushi. A Muslim should be clean and tidy. There is no reason you can not trim the hairs that are going crazy. You must keep yourself with a good apperance. My beard is getting longer again and I am doing just that, Alhamdulilah. The Prophet(SAW) would cut his beard after Hajj, whatever was more than a handfull. I know Brothers it will look scruffy while you grow it out, but in time you can trim it so it has a nice shape and look. You can't go around looking like captian caveman now can you! [Image: laugh.gif] I believe that it is Wajib to grow a beard, that is only my opinion. The ahaddith are numerous in having a beard and trimming the moustache short. If you want to follow the Prophet(SAW) as best we can we should grow a beard as he told us to do. Look at the Sahabah, may Allah(SWT) be pleased with them, they would walk in the same footsteps as Rasululah(SAW) did. Insha'Allah I too will find some proofs for all. Take care my Brothers

Wa salaam,

Ahmed

[Image: biggrin.gif] InshaAllah she won't run away, I used to play with my fathers beard all the time

[Image: biggrin.gif] I have a Brother who actually shaves a beard that has never begun to grow yet, he just can't wait for it to start growing, he is only 16 [Image: biggrin.gif]

I think Brothers should have their beards, everyone is busy pointing fingers at the sisters and brothers walk around without their beards.

You see husbands getting very angry at their wife, just because her ankle was visible while she went shopping, but he shaves his beard. talking about double standards!

Don't mean to generalize our Brothers, I just thought to share that with you all,

And have you all also noticed how obvious it is to tell which one is a muslim from a muslim and a nonmuslim men who both have beards?

If someone would have brought infront of me two men one muslim the other a nonmuslim who both have beards, within a second i would be able to tell which of them is a muslim.

And Allah knows best.
