We don't believe in the Bible nor the Torah you are having now. We believe in the ones which were originally revealed from Allah. And when Allah revealed the Quran He commanded us not read anything else. We don't need anything else it is all in Quran.

And amai this the problem u came into this forum with a premature judgement that we hate Christians. And looking at your story of crucifixion, don't you hate the Jews. Being a Christian and they were the reason for Christ to be captured. Funny and contradictory or u don't care that they did this to him  :?:

when i went to this board, i didn't prematurely judge Muslims.

i don't think people on this board hates us nonMuslims(that's why i said "most")

before, i thought that [b:aed1226849]real[/b:aed1226849] Muslims don't hate Christians and Jews but those who pretend to be Muslims do, deluded into thinking that Allah favors it,

but now, i don't think that's the case. i've read testimonies from ex-muslim turned Christian on how they were raised to hate Jews and Christians.

i've also read "in the presence of my enemies" by Gracia Burnham. the abu sayaff(group of muslim "terrorists" in the Philippines) weren't just "pretending" muslim hypocrites but [b:aed1226849]real[/b:aed1226849] Allah-believing people. they always pray facing Mecca(sp?), shouting "Allah akbar! Allah akbar!", revere the Quran and do the cleansing thing before praying.

these people are real Muslims, yet they do those beheadings, killing, torturing etc.

what's up with that? why do many hate Christians and Jews? does Quran teach Muslim to destroy lives?

[b:aed1226849]it's not fair to hate the all Jews just because of a mistake done by their forefathers.[/b:aed1226849]

i don't hate the pharisees who condemned Jesus, but neither did i like what they've done to Him; they just didn't know any better.

not all Jews in Jesus' time wanted Him to be crucified, many didn't. and also, the first Christians were Jews.

and another thing, may i know what you think is contradictory on my belief? [Image: smile.gif]

another question, please answer it:

1. why was Jesus sentenced to death in the first place?

Praise be to Allah, at least I see some change in your tone. and thank u for bringing the Abu Sayaf group thing. See we all have to clean before praying and we must face Mecca. This is how we pray. So it is not a plus. And can u do some research on Muslims status in Philipnies during the eighties. No one heard of the difficulties they faced, nor any one condemned the massacre they went through. But just when they finally started retaliating and asking for minimum rights they were called terrorists. Pls do the research. MY dear amai they were subjected to the highest level of humiliation and hatred.

And I have no idea why was Prophet Issa peace and prayer upon him was sentneced to death. Would u pls tell me. Would like to know. [Image: smile.gif]

Quote:See we all have to clean before praying and we must face Mecca. This is how we pray. So it is not a plus.[/quote:3567c6fffb]what i mean is that, since these groups follow basic muslim "rituals"(don't know what other word to call it...sorry ^^') then they are real muslims then, not just pretenders who kill using Allah's name.

also, i don't think Abu Sayaff was founded because of some retaliation. Janjalani was one of those who fought in a Jihad, Osama being the leader. Janjalani was inspired, thus, created Abu Sayaff.

The Abu Sayaff aren't claiming their "rights." they want to conquer the Philippines. they'll first get control of Basilan, then Mindanao, Visayas, Luzon. if they conquer the Philippines, they go to the neighboring countries.(Taiwan, Hongkong)

but Christianwise, Jesus was crucified because He blasphemed and called Himself God.

Islam says Jesus was sentenced to death(but never died), but for what reason? if He's just Allah's messenger and never claimed to be God, why would the Pharisees condemn Him? what harm does Jesus' teachings do?(beatitudes, praying to the Father, etc.)

sure, the pharisees were extremely jealous of His knowledge. but that's a no-ground for sentencing someone to death. He was condemned because He blasphemed. i mean, Jesus wasn't sentenced out of the blue, right?

what i want to know is why muslims think Jesus was planned to be executed. He didn't claim to be the Son of God and God, what other reason then can there be?

peace yet again [Image: smile.gif]

Please have a little patience amai. Sometimes it is not possible to be in front of the computer 24/7.

Anyway, I remeber being taught in school, and I am sure that you heard it as well, that Jesus was not well-accepted among the the scribes and pharisees. Jesus went into the temple to find them buying and selling, RIGHT THERE IN THE TEMPLE. And he put a stop to it. They were shamed in front of their followers. They were jealous of Jesus as the people were listening to him more, and to them less. They felt threatened, and plotted to destroy him. It was a power struggle.

You have learned this right?

and thanks for your patience

Also, it is interesting that you say 'Christianwise' he BLASPHEMED and called himself God and therefore was put to death. Why would a Christian call this blasphemy when they are currently basing their faith on it?

oh well, guess i misphrased it.

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="260" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Anyway, I remeber being taught in school, and I am sure that you heard it as well, that Jesus was not well-accepted among the the scribes and pharisees. yes, i learned about it.

but for all i know, these "reasons" are taken from the Bible. if this is your answer to my question, it's a wonder why you would base something on the Bible when you know it's corrupt.

but basing on the Quran, [b:deff6e921a]what's the reason why Jesus was sentenced to death?[/b:deff6e921a]

by the way, i never saw a satifactory answer to whisper's question:

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="260" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Would you please explain why you would use this argument when you don't believe Jesus ever hung on the cross? [/quote:deff6e921a]i'd appreciate if you guys wouldn't dodge this questions.

I never heard anything like that, I have to say, this information is not true at all. We dont believe that Jesus said anything on a cross, i doubt if he ever saw one.
