Hello
#21
Alsalam 'alaykom thank you for your words radiyah, they got me thinking. See me and my friend were sooo into our music thing. We spent like nearly nine years on it struggling, building up to where we are, then i all of a sudden tell him i've found Allah, he doesn't understand it, because i was so anti religion a short while ago, now i'm the exact opposite in his eyes. I've got more and more people waiting wondering on what i'm doing, they're people i'm kind of hiding from while i sort my head out, but obviously as time goes on, people are starting to question what i'm doing and the pressure is building to near bottom of sea depth levels. Since finding Allah (or since Allah found me?) I've felt so free in my head, but then when i have to deal with real people again, it mixes with my feelings, i wish i could escape to a mountain and chill for a few months, then come back refreshed. But no, still got to deal with life....it's all a test of course i know. I'll get there.

Assalamu aleikum brother,

InshaAllah brother you will sort things out, Allah, SWT, is testing you and all of us too. It may seem difficult when the test is going on, but afterwards when everything makes such great sense it is so strengthening. Just don't hasten too much but instead think and reflect over things, and always remember that the best Guide there is, is letting you go through these things to make you an even better Muslim inshaAllah.

Go with small steps brother,

Wasalam your sister in Islam

U sure will brother, do not worry at all, look at me, being born muslim, muslim parents, arabic speaking, and I get mocked from the closest people of mine, do I care, of course not, I don't care, in fact when i decided to wear the hijab in hmmm when was that 1980, all my family were like, "u r crazy, my mother told me"may Allah bless her soul" go and throw it away. So imagine how it is when some1 who is close to u, mother actually, and orders u to disobey Allah. I did have a very hard time then, but I was patient and calm with them that Alhamdulilah they adjusted and got over it. Today I am more relegious, no music no movies, not much at public visitings, so that we will not Gossip [Image: rolleyes.gif] ,

so again, ooooh she is too much, and they start making fatwas, music is not haram, going out is not haram, why are u always wearing black and bagy dress, and so on. I don't say that I do not go out I do, but I try not to go out much except for important tasks. Now again everyone is adjusted again, and I am living in peace obeying no1 but Allah Alhamdulilah, I do not say I am a perfect muslim, we then are still human beings, and we must sin, to find a Most Forgiving Allah who loves us and accepts our repentance. [Image: laugh.gif] so there goes I blaberred again and gave u a headache, cheer up u r on the right path. And oh if u love your friend just pull him along with u kindly and lovingly, and step by step [Image: biggrin.gif].

U can by will of Allah have stood strong be like yusif Islam, serve Allah by spreading Islam by anasheed listen to those :

http://www.amrkhaled.net/mcategories/categories39.html

here u will find 3 anasheed in english for Samy yusef he is english I think from turkish origin, listen and c then what u would want to do, one of these anasheed he made a clip of it and it is put now and then on tv like this he is teaching the young generation "specially those lost teenagers", the love of Allah and Prophet Muhammad. So think about it. [Image: smile.gif] but do not be hasty [Image: smile.gif]

Sobhan Allah because Allah has been so kind in guiding me, he has helped me grow and shown me so many truths. Getting back in contact with friends after my month break as a Muslim hasn't really helped matters. Where my friends are, is my old lifestyle and i don't know how strong i'd be in those surroundings. It's only because i've cut myself off from everything that i've had real time to think about Allah and my new life in Islam. There's so many negative things out there, especially amongst my friends, i need a break from all of them to be honest. Like i said somewhere else, i need a long relaxing break away from everything amongst Allahs nature. There's not much around where i am as far as relaxing. There's always a road or something nearby...just me the trees the noble Quran and Allah, one day, starting new job tommorow...will start saving for a holiday i think! [Image: laugh.gif]

O Anya u r starting a new job Insh a Allah may Allah Makes it a blessing and a Halal (legitimate source of income) u know Anya u r so much right about the company. It is recommended we keep pious company for it helps much. I know of a story I am not sure about the source whether it is hadeeth or other. A man killed 99 people, went and asked a monk who did nothing but to worship Allah day and night. Do I have a chance to repent? the monk said no. so he killed him and by this he made it 100. He went to a scholar a man who has knowledge (actually this story shows the difference between having knowledge and just worship) and asked the same question, the scholar said of course u have a chance to repent. Repent sincerely and immigrate from this city for it has bad company seek one with pious people. So he did, while on his way he died. Angles of heavens and of Hell came down disputing which party is entitled to take him. Allah Inspired them to measure the distances between the originating and destination points, if he was closer to the destination (pious city) heavens angles to take him or other wise hell angles would be entitled for him. Allah Being Qabed (One Who Contracts) and Baset (One Who Expands) contracted the distance towards the destination. He was then taken by the angles of Heavens because Allah Knows he was sincere about his intention.

When we all go back to the correct path, we try to hold on thru also keeping pious company. I know u still can not like join masjed crowd, u r still unable to introduce yourself as a Muslim. But Insh a Allah the step will be easier.

Let us know how it goes with your job Insh a Allah may Allah Protect u.

First day of job was ok, very boring...am being trained by a Muslim who drinks beer. I almost wanted to tell him off, then realised i'm still a baby fresh Muslim myself and how much of a blatant cheek that would be coming from me [Image: biggrin.gif] . Nope i'll keep quiet, leave him to Allah of course Allah knows best.

Oh and sorry about my long sig...it will go soon, it's just up there for the non muslims who may pass through. Forgive the length. I actually had to shorten it down belive it or not. I could have gone on for ever...it's just Allahs words inspire like nothing else.

I think coming from u would be very meaningful, Sobhan Allah u may remind him nicely and softly, that how much he is advantaged for being a MUslim and how much u were concerned for your lost years. U may do it nicely, although before doing it, seek Allah's help invoke upon Allah to inspire u with teh correct words. [Image: smile.gif]
