Mega, it seems u r mixing your cards, u accused first Muslimah of being whatever u said because she agrees to beheading innocent people, whjch she does not agree with, what she said, that Jihad in Islam is one of the main fundemental aspects, but the Jihad is understood by the west in a wrong way, we many times explained what it is on many threads, but it seems no1 wants to read, or no1 wants to accept what is written.

Now what Does Jihad mean: It means

Another meaning of Jihad.
The word Jihad stems from the Arabic root word J-H-D, which means "strive." Other words derived from this root include "effort," "labor," and "fatigue." Essentially Jihad is an effort to practice religion in the face of oppression and persecution.The effort may come in fighting the evil in your own heart, or in standing up to a dictator. Military effort is included as an option, but as a last resort and not "to spread Islam by the sword"
Never did the early muslim army fight for power for themselves, instead they fought to spread peace and self freedom from the 2 tyrant nations that were rulimg at that time, the romans and the farisis. Now if u study how Islam spread in russia or east asia, u will know it was not by sword but by trading., and because of the high morals the muslim merchants dealt with in their tradings.
The Qur'an describes Jihad as a system of checks and balances, as a way that Allah set up to "check one people by means of another." Islam never tolerates unprovoked aggression from its own side; Muslims are commanded in the Qur'an not to begin hostilities, embark on any act of aggression, violate the rights of others, or harm the innocent. Even hurting or destroying animals or trees is forbidden. War is waged only to defend the religious community against oppression and persecution, because:

This aya was talking about the Kuffar or let us say mushrikeen in mekka at that time, because when the muslims chose to worship only one God, the mushrikeen tortured them and threw them out of Mekkah, they took away their homes and money, now here Jihad is permissable, first freedom of worship spread the word of Islam, and take back their rights. So why do we say that Jihad in palestine is permissable, because the jews are occupiers and transgressors, and their goal is kill all the arabs and muslims, there are jews who are in jail becasue they are against what Israel is doing. I think u know about the atomic jew scientist nono who was imprisoned becasue he revealed secrets about ISRAEL'S NUCLEAR WEAPONS. Palestinians are killed by mass and u ask us to restrain ourselves and turn the other cheek until we are all dead, is this what all of u want? the region was in peace till the english started invading the muslim world and then implanted the jews in our land, u would never hear of a muslim killing a jew or a christian or taking them as hostages,
they were all living peacfully until the cancer called Israel was spread in the body of arab nations.
So just before attacking Islam understand it, understand the verses in Quran what they are exactly speaking off and do not take the outside meaning of a translation of Quran, and about what is happining in Iraq I think I explained to u that these are terrorists who are wearing the cloack of Islam, and they are not true muslims. And remember that violence ignites viloence, I said that before and i will keep on saying it. And this will end when Allah wills and the Islamic nation will rise again with true pious muslims.
