Bismillah .. Salaam Alaikum, dear brothers and sisters ..
The following Hadith is so profound and so true about life for everyone that I thought of sharing it with all of you.
The Prophet once slept on a reed mat and got up with the marks
of it on his body. His companions saw the marks and expressed
concern that they should have made him more comfortable. The
Prophet replied: "What have I to do with this world? In relation
to this world, I am like a rider who shades himself under a tree
and then (continues on his way)."
Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1351
May Allah (SWT) Bless our beloved Prophet (S.A.W.) and the noble members of his Household (A.S.) ... Ameen.

Sura hujurat 49:11-12
11. O ye who believe! Let not some men among you laugh at others: It
may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): Nor let some
women laugh at others: It may be that the (latter are better than
the (former): Nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call
each other by (offensive) nicknames: Ill-seeming is a name connoting
wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: And those who
do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong.
12. O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for
suspicion in some cases is a sin: And spy not on each other behind
their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead
brother? Nay, ye would abhor it...But fear Allah. For Allah is Oft-
Returning, Most Merciful.

assalaam wa 'alaikum my brothers and sisters,
i would just like to share with you a hadith about the love of this material world:
the prophet (saw) said : "a time will come when the kaafir nations will invite each other , just as people are invited towards meals, in order to annihilate you."someone asked ,"o rasulullah (saw) will their boldness to do so be on account of us being smaller in number? rasulullah replied,"no, in fact your numbers will be great, but despite that you will be like a twig in flood waters. allaah will remove fear from the hearts of the enemy, 9 your enemy will not fear you)while he will create "wahan" in your hearts. someone enquired. " what is wahan" o rasulullah?" he replied, "love for this world and hate for death."
the love for this world has made us indifferenttowards halaal and haraam, and we are extremely coward in the face of death. despite our large numbers the kuffar have the upperhand over us.
hope insha allaah you liked it.
your sister,
khadeeja.

assalaam wa 'alaikum,
WEALTH- A GREAT TRIAL
hadhrat ka'b ibn iyaadh(r.a.) narrates, "i heard the rasulullah (saw) saying,"every ummah had some trial (Fitnah) and the fitnah of my ummah is wealth.
according to another narration rasulullah (saw) has said,"i do not fear poverty overtaking my ummah, but rather i fear that they become wealthy and are destroyed like the people of before.
Hadhrat Amr bin Auf (r.a.) narrates that the rasulullah (saw) said:" By allaah i do not fear poverty and starvation overtaking you, but i fear you will have abundant wealth at your disposal as it had been at the disposal of the nations before you. you will then become extremely greedy in accumulating this wealth( showing no regard for halaal and haraam) just as the previous nations had done. this greed will be the cause of your ruin and destruction just as it destroyed the people before you." ( bukhari and muslim)
my brothers and sisters this is the dilemma we are facing and as it is already prevalent it will soon destroy our imaan. dont let these worldy things take our minds of the remembrance of our creator and cherisher!!!
wassalaam, your sister,
khadeeja
