My favourite Adhan is from Al-Aqsa. Beautiful.

Alhamdulilah that Allah gave me that knowledge to pass it to u, I attend lessons with one azharete scholar, and we asked him about music, and he mentioned those ahadeeth mentioned about being permissable, and he said that it was on special occasions that it happened, we can listen only to anasheed(islamic songs) that dont have much instruments, and he said let us not let it be a habit and turn ourselves away from Quran, when u listen to it beleive me u would not want to listen to anything else. I myself when i am in the car i have Quran tapes and anasheed, i would listen to the nasheeds for maybe 2 minutes, then automatically turn to Quran, so listen to Quran even if u do not understand beleive me it will penetrate straight through your soul and u will feel peace and tranquility with yourself and others, here are some sites for Quran reciting, insha'Allah one day u will be able to understand. Step by step brother, and take care and may Allah bless u and open all closed doors, and may we all insha'Allah meet in Al-Ferdaoos Al-A'la(this is the highest rank in Janna, very close to Allah(SWT), always ask Allah for it

well, i was a singer before in Egypt/Alexandria.. and music was absolutely my everything.

U were ??? masha' Allah Alhamdulilah brother that u r back to the right path, we pray for all those muslim singers , to c the light and return to Allah's path. I myself used to listen to songs before, but now Alhamdulilah i stopped, when i hear it by mistake -sorry for the expression- I just feel like vaumiting .
