Proposal for the mods to look at

I've installed invision board on my home server, to try my hand at graphics for this software.


I make themes for phpbb plus (I'll show you an example when Iget home).


Right now, I cant figure how to make theme for invision board, but once I do, I'd like to make one for this site if it is still needed?


Once I figure out how the skins for invision board work, it wont take very long at all for me to finish a design. Its just so much different than phpbb that I need to figure it out.

I have not been able to do anything for the treasure hunt - I could not find the time I've barely been able to visit this site until recently. Perhaps someone more familar with flash graphics will be better suited (I only know photoshop).


Here is an example of a theme I did for phpbb2 plus. It is not close to being finished - I still have to create matching buttons, but you can see the basic design. This theme is for a friend from Viet Nam:





I would love to make an Islam-based theme for this website....insha allah I can figure invision board out, and the mods will allow it

But hear this... about flash... we use Normal Jpegs or GIF files... so u can actually use photoshop..

I thought flash used vector graphics and layers didnt know that - thanks for telling me


The software for the actual forum is called phpbb (www.phpbb.com). It works similar to this forum (which runs on software called 'invision board'). The only software I used to create the design was photoshop for the images, and the rest of the colors and everything else is all HTML and CSS.

if I am not mistaken NajNaj was ready to do the graphics or am I missing something here. Right Radiyah, is she still willing to do so??

Oh she did make one sister, and she sent it to brother naseeha, but i was angry with her because she did it in a hurry and it looked terrible , she has changed it now it is much better, she wants to send it but i am keeping her from doing so, I will check it tommorrow and if it is good i will let her send it. and sadly speeking she will leave to bahrain after a couple of weeks, she has a training job there at one of her fathers friend institute, so I hope she will be back with better experience, . One of my daughters made a treasure map, but I dont know where it is now it is saved on one of many cd's , I will look for it tommorrow. I hope u like them brother naseeha, or then I guess u will have to change the subject. hope not And sorry for the delay, I am to blame .

back to the treasure hunt... i will start working a bit and as soon as i have a chance i will tell u all ok...

The web server I use is called "UniServer". I only use it localy, meaning I am the only one who can access it (I only use it to design themes and test them) so I don't know how it works as a public server, but I can say I am very happy with it.


It is VERY easy to use. To start it, you just click the icon, and it starts. You then use your webbrowser to go to it's administration panel, then click "Start MySQL" and MySQL starts. It is SOOO simple to use - no settings need to be entered, and nothing additional needs to be installed.
