Is It True That Babies Can See Angels?
#31

Thanks everyone for inviting me i am very appreciative of your welcome. God(Allah) must be smiling on me at the moment so i thank god for guiding me to this place. I also thank my classmate Nasra for taking me here as well.

Its funny how we are talking about angels because I went to the cathedral on sunday in christchurch, nz :blink and the paster was talking about the angels and what they do to protect us. I guess our two religions are very similar but with a few limits on what and what not we believe in.

I class everyone one as an equal. Not all christians i know are like that. So im different and i respect everybodies beliefs. I'm a Catholic and I belong to this sector of Christianity. Anyway enough about me.

Angels are there to protect us they are gods messengers and tell us whats good and bad about the world.

Thank you all for welcomming me and may god lead you to your future.

Belief in angels is one of the six pillars of belief or faith without which there is no faith. Whoever does not believe in any of these pillars is not a believer (mu’min). These pillars are belief in: Allaah, His angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Last Day, and that predestination, both good and bad, comes from Allah.

Angels are a part of the world of the Unseen which we cannot comprehend. Allah has told us about them in many places in the Qur’aan and via His Prophet Muhammad . There follows a number of proven reports concerning the angels, which hopefully will make you realize the greatness of the Creator and the greatness of this religion which has told us so much about them:

Of what are they created?

They are created from light, as ‘Aa’ishah reported: "The Messenger of Allah said: ‘The angels are created from light, just as the jinn are created from smokeless fire and mankind is created from what you have been told about.’" (Reported by Muslim, no. 2996).

When were they created?

We have no knowledge of precisely when they were created, because there is no text to tell us this. But they were created before mankind for certain, because the Qur’aan says (interpretation of the meaning): "Behold, your Lord said to the angels: ‘I will create a vicegerent on earth.’ . . ." [al-Baqarah 2:30] The fact that Allah told them of His intention to create man indicates that they already existed."

This is a quote from an article by Sheikh Mohamad Salih El-Munajjid about the angels, the rest of the article is below:

With reservations to what is mentioned about angels Haaroot and Maaroot, our scholar told us that angels are made of light, they are not like humans, they will not sin, and that the jews mentioned that false story about the angels just like they falsified many facts, the story about the two angels mentioned in tafseer Ibn Katheer, is different and Ibn katheer mentioned that the ahadeeth about the angels sining are da'eef and ghareeb. Below the explanation of the story of Haroot and maroot According to Ibn Katheer:

Wallahu 'Alam of the truth (Allah Knows Best)

And about babies seeing angels i will still look for that and either confirm it or deny it after I ask the scholar. Wallahu 'Alam

Lifutushi u want to confirm the name yes his name is Mikal or mikaeel actually. They are mentioned in surat baqarah:

"Whoever is an enemy to Allah, His Angels, His Messengers, Jibrael (Gabriel) and Mikael (Michael), then verily, Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers." (Quran 2:98)

The reason Allah Is Saying whoever is an enemy to Allah, then He mentioned angles then specifically named Jibrael and Mikael, because the jews asked the Messenger (SAW) who brings down Quran to him, and when they found out it was Jibrael they said he is our enemy if it was Mikael we would follow u. Because Jibrael was responsible by Allah's commande to enforce punishments on whole cities and towns.
