hey everyone its meee... YAAYYY...

Salaams...

Well i am taking jus a little time off my busy schedule say hi to everyone especially MY WONDERFUL UMM..

Anyways... i did A'levels 3 years ago.. i am now 21 and am waitin results for ACCA... At A' levels i got 2 B's (in G.P and Management of Business) a C in Econ. and a D in accounts.. As u can see i didnt do all that well...

anyways.. Allah has opened up my doors so that i got a scolarship to do accounts (Ironically the same subject that i did worst in). Right now i am At the final level ACCA (i.e. a professional accounting exams based in the UK and spreads worldwide). I expect results on MONDAY insha allah that is the 23rd.

Anyways... now for a bit of advice... I did A'Levels. and i know a little bit about some career advice that i can give.. Maybe i can give some here to all those who got their results..

the GCSE A'Level exams is most useful because it takes u to a higher level of maturity in writing ur exams than the O'level. however.. It still lacks alot because it is ONLY A STEPPING STONE in the educational process... I must say alhamdulillah amma for such a wonderful performance.. but now u are at a point where u can decide ur career. I would advise that you choose something that

you like

you are good at

that you can contribute to muslims

and most of all

CHOOSE SOMETHING HALAAL...

ok... and remember you success in anything depends SOLELY ON THE WILL & MERCY OF ALLAH..

Now that u have finished the secondary level examination time to go on to university or some sort of tertiary level exams...

I would suggest the accounts because u did it... but believe me amma A'level accounts is SUICIDE [Image: blink.gif] dont get discouraged by it.. ACCA is much different. It is very difficult but it is explained better than A'levels.. but whatever u choose is fine..

one of the major obstacles to going to that university level is finance. In my case i had ABSOLUTELY NO CASH... i come from a relatively poor family... but amma trust me... IF U CALL TO YOUR LORD FROM THE DEPTHS OF YOUR HEART>>> YOU WILL MOVE MOUNTAINTS>>>

My dear sister amma. u are at a turning point in your life. At this point good ppl can become bad and bad ppl can become good. Now u will begin to explore your maturity. You will be challenged with all those challenges that your parents had and seemed to get over with ease, and sometimes with hardship.

perhaps the best advice i can give u is to PRAY...

<b>PRAY</b>

PRAY..

<b>Call upon allah..</b>

Trust in allah

Ask him to guide u in your decision..

MAKE ISTIKHAARAH (<i>Muslimah quarreled with me once for this... [Image: tongue.gif] she was right)</i>if u need help, advice, or anything.. jus tell us ok...

but please remember

PRAY!!!!!

OH ALLAH PLEASE GUIDE OUR SISTER IN ALL HER AFFAIRS......

AMEEN

YOUR BROTHER...

Welcome back Naseeha mashaAllah long time no see, good to see you again [Image: biggrin.gif]

I'm going to tell you a little about my education background and What I am doing now.

After I was done with High school by the end of 2002, I started going to the School of Business, I did the (MBus) Master of Business, I studied the MBus (in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Information Science, International Business, Management, and Marketing Management). Alhamdulilah at the beginning of last semester I realized that (MBus) wasn't for me anymore, in spite of the fact that I was really doing so well I just wanted to do something different ( got fed up with the computer) you know. So now I switched to the Bachelor degree in travel & tourism (BTT) already one semester. I have a drive for New ideas, new skills and new methods, I like helping people and fixing their problems for them [Image: smile.gif] I was just not getting that out of my previous studies it wasn't fulfilling but BTT- Travel & tourism offers me that in every facet in this industry. I also speak 4 languages I'm hoping to put that to use inshaAllah.

My teacher was telling me how she one time worked in 5 different countries within a week, one day in spain the other in germany, then in france and the list goes on.

A few jobs that I'll be qualified to do after I gradute

<b>Corporate Travel Planner </b>

Travel Agent/Counselor

Tour Escort/Guide

Travel Management

Cruise & Tour Specialists

Airline Reservationist

Travel Writer

Travel Sales & Marketing

Meeting Planner

Special Event Coordinator

Convention Service

Independent Contractor

Travel Law

I don't know which of those paths I'm going to take really, but inshaAllah I'll see where the waves will lead me to this time.

IF U CALL TO YOUR LORD FROM THE DEPTHS OF YOUR HEART>>> YOU WILL MOVE MOUNTAINTS>>>

Quote:I second that, Never should we sit in any exam without starting with Bismilah and asking Allah to make it easy for us.

Yes brother accounts is a lot of work and u have to be very accurate in checking numbers [Image: ph34r.gif] , and at the end of the week u end up with a neck spine feet pain [Image: sad.gif]

but it is worth it u gain experience.

well about time, our official work time ends at 3:30 pm by time i reach home , pray and have lunch and rest a bit , then it is either i watch the news for 15 minutes or read books or write. Then after esha prayer i face the pc. sometimes daily sometimes everyother day. So organize your day and time according to your working hours. And on weekends take a rest from everything and relax so that u will start your week fresh.

Ask Allah's assistance and u will find everything has become smooth and easy insha'Allah.
