That's unfortunate. If muslims did elevate Jesus to the level of God, then that would be a point of agreement between muslims and christians.

believing in Mohammad means believing that "Mohammad is Allah's messenger".


believing in Jesus means believing that "Jesus is Allah's messenger".


There is a big differense between believing in Allah and believing in his messengers.Muslims did not elevate any one or any thing to the level of Allah.May be this is a point of big disagreemen between muslims and christians.

In answer to that, I made it clear that we are also <b>NOT</b> going to be saved without believing in Jesus (as one of the greatest messengers of God) and that doesn’t mean that we elevate him or anyone else to the level of God, and so you too is requested to believe in Muhammad pbuh (and all other prophets) in order to be saved.
