A couple of Questions

whats the difference between Shia and Sunni ?


and in a general way where did Sharia law come from and whats peoples thoughts about living in a country governed by these laws?

The Sunni are the original group, and the Shia are a group that broke away from the main group. The Shia have some practices such as self-mutilation that aren't acceptable. The majority of Muslims are Sunni, I believe somewhere between 85-90%.


Personally, I believe that if we all lived under Sharia we would see more peace, harmony, and equality in the world. I know a good book to read as introduction to Sharia, here is a link if you are interested:

I mean for all of humanity. We all have the same creator.


I posted a link to that book in case you, or anybody else wishes to become familiar with Sharia. I think its a good idea to take our information from those educated in the field.
