Brother, I really truly appreciate your concern, astaghferullah, i not that young, however, I m aware of Hassan el Banna as the founder, I did meet a number of them, as I told u, read their platfrom. Regarding the shirk and bida`s quite spread here in Egypt, well, what can I say, I dont think a group can really eliminate it on a collective manner, but it rather needs a well structured Islamic eduaction scheme. As I told u, may be I m holding to a hope that this group that was able to secure a number of seats in the People's Assembly, will be able to change something. For example, on the personal level, I dont go and vote at all, I dont take part for various reasons, of them that I didnt receive one brochure telling me that this Parliament representative will call for the elimination of alcohol drinking or closing gambling casinos, at the least. Thus, me personally I wouldnt bother if this or that won a seat, they are mostly after immunity and other stuff.
As for the Ikhwan, i never had an idea that they accept in anyone. I know they are somehow trying to gain power, but I thought for Islamic purposes, I mean we do need someone who may call for example for cleaning the media outlets, dont we??? And I m also most of the time concerned of not making a judgment on people, calling them names, and accusing them. This I do take extra caution about.
