If one sneezes during Friday prayer
If one sneezes during Friday prayer one should say "al-hamdu lillah" to oneself silently; no one should say the normal response "yarhamukum Allah" while the imam is giving the khutbah, although it is OK to do during the silent pause between the two khutbah or after the imam has descended from his minbar (pulpit). Ibn Othaimeen. Abu Dawood said: I said to Ahmed: Should one reply to salaam and sneezing while the imam is giving the khutbah? He replied: If he can't hear the khutbah, then he should reply; but if he hears it, then no.
