My dear friends.....I hope you are all well.I have been away from this board due to my circumstances.Welcome you all.I want to draw your attention to this serious mistake committed by some writers when they talk about our prophet Muammah.They only write down the (saw)instead of say Sula Allah Ailaeehi Wasallam(Peace be upon Him).If we want to gain more rewards,we must say Prophet Muhammed (Peace Be Upon Him)contarary to (saw).
I hope you got my point and act accordingly soon.

I agree with you, this is the new Internet writing trend, they even do it with Allah Sobhanuh wa Taala, instead of typing it that way, they only type SWT, do you also remember when others used numbers to represent Bismillah I think.
Any way, I agree with you brother, Jazakum Allah khairan.

I have read many books where the abbreviation is there, not just from internet. I want to ask is there some ruling on it, or it is from personal opinion?

Assalamualaikum,
i don't know what to say about this, because in my country abbreviations are used widely. SWT, SAW, AS & RA has been used as an official abbreviation. Even my name uses abbreviation ('Mohd' which is read as Mohammad).

Assalamou alaykoum,SOULPERSON,do you have any evidences from the Quran and the Sunna,or Scholars' sayings that we must write in English the abbreviation SAW=sala lahou alayhi wa salam?Writing in Arabic there's no objection to do so,but still if someone omits to do so there's no sin and Allah taala knows best.i am not saying i am right,but we need to consult trustworthy AHL IILME on this issue( i mean English writing SAW).
