Just joined the forum. MashaAllah, very nice.
I am a member and founder of www.muslims-online.com.
It’s a community of Muslims who participate in online multiplayer games occasionally.
There is a reason behind establishing such a community. While many of us as students used to go online with multiplayer games, we found many Muslims who do not care about Islam and its practices. And their Akhlaq was totally westernized. When we saw this condition of so many young Muslims all over the world, we founded an Islamic “gaming Clan” and invited them to join our team.
Muslims, who are away from deen already, won’t come to any Islamic forums or lectures. Moreover, they tend to avoid any “Islamic” gatherings. But, in their soul, they do have love for Islam and do take pride in it.
This was the key! We though, we won’t be able to bring them close to deen, the practice of deen by lecturing them. Instead, if we could create love and brotherhood 1st, it will be easier later on to guide them in practice of deen.
With this in mind, came the “RAW” Clan, [b:bf28624d1f]Rise of An Ancient Warrior[/b:bf28624d1f]. The theme is based on Abdul Karims “From the Shadows” cassette on Free Maisons. RAW is the 1st ever, Muslims Only, online Multiplayer gaming team.
Many young Muslims joined our clan from all over the world. Alhumdulillah, after 5 years, Allah (swt) have used us as a means of guiding many lost Muslims. In addition to that, we have created an image of Islam and Muslims within a community where Islam could hardly reach, the community of over 1 million online multiplayer gamers.
