Has anyone read this Book?
#11

Salaam Alaikum!

Yes! I’ve had the luxurious time to read his magnificent book on Jinn. I read it while I was a freshman at College (2 years ago). I just recently added it to my stacked collection of books (my personal library within my own domain), Alhamdulilah.

as salam alykom sister Carol

Insh a Allah nothing will affect your faith, as long as Allah brought u from darkness to light, then Allah will certainly protect u.

Again with all due respect to my dear sister Jennifer and brother Ibn. Focus first on Salah, follow the steps give by naseeha, Insh aAllah take things step by step. Read Quran like make a homework, read 5 pages per day or as much as u can, really focus on Quran, it will help a lot sister.

And if u r interest to know about jinn.

In brief they are the other kind of creation living among us we dont see them they see us, of them Muslims, Chritians etc. They are simply a nation just like mankind, Prophet Mohamed (PAPBUH) was sent to them just exactly as he was sent to us. Because every Prophet before him was sent to his people only whereas he was sent to the whole worlds (take note of the s).

Read for ex.:

"And (remember) when We sent towards you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) a group (three to ten persons) of the jinn, (quietly) listening to the Qur’ân. When they stood in the presence thereof, they said: "Listen in silence!" And when it was finished, they returned to their people, as warners." (Quran 46:29)

"And I (Allâh) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone)." (Quran 51:56)

and read Sûrat Al-Jinn (Quran 72)

it is a whole Sura names jin, u will understand a lot from it.

I have more ayahs to explain in a simple way, I just dont want to flood u with info, u need to take it easy sister

Again will be more than happy to help more

how to read quran see and hear: http://www.reciter.org/

the best translation i've ever found : http://www.tafsir.com/

"Minds are Like Umbrellas -- They Work Best When OPEN!"

anything incorrect is from us and the syaithan, while everything correct is from Allah Azza wa Jalla.

Peace be upon you all,

My dear brother,I recommend that you should read the HOLY BOOK other than any confusing books that may lead you to the unpleasant end. There are Twaheed and Hadeth books which are of great value to you. Please never involve in wasting-time topics.Every human, sensible Muslim must be interested in what grants him knowledge.Thankss

]ALhamdulillah zahrani You are echoing my sentiments exactly however you should not put it across just as you did....

Believe me i have been in this predicament before, where i met people who do not want to study tauhid first....

this book by ibn taymiyyah and translated by Br. Bilal Phillips is good Alhamdulillah... he quoted sources from quraan and hadith... when you refer to this knowledge as wasting-time topics... you are effectively saying that the quraan and hadith dealt with wasting time topics A 'UUDHUBILLAH....

Alhamdulillah i FULLY understand what you want to say... And i agree with you 100% but please try to use your words carefully... you may be taken out of context and be SERIOUSLY misquoted....

I look forward to seeing you more on this board

bi idhnillahi ta'ala

(Assalam)
