As salam alaikum
I have found that if I sit quietly and reflect on the blessings of Allah, Most High, I can feel the difference.
My dreams do not include distubing images but rather of my family (who is not muslim) and I going out in search of Islamic knowledge. My dreams include lecutures by sheikhs I have never met with people in the audience who I have not seen for years, listening intently.
My heart even feels lighter! I love Allah and the great blessings that He bestows upon me... upon us all.
Jazakum Allah Khair

as salam alykom dear brothers and sisters
Mash a Allah, nothing to add after such touching posts, and Suhail u r right I could never dream in a million years I d read something like this from u:) Akhi Dan just remember that u r tested, since day one, since u took shahada u r tested. Also remember that part of the family of our beloved Messenger sallah Allah alhyhee wa sallam (his uncles) were not muslim, one of them Abu Taleb who was so close to his heart could not get him to take shahada before he died. Well part of your test brother. May Allah sobhanhu wa ta`ala grant u comfort of the eye by having your family and your wife join soon the winning team. ameen

Jazaki Allah Ukhti
A test is how I view this whole life. Insha' Allah my patience will provide me with the reward that I so dearly seek. If Allah does not make anyone else muslim in the whole world no matter how much I would like that, Alhamdulillah I am muslim. His Mercy was bestowed upon me and in the end that is what will matter most. The day when we will avoid all those who were most important to us in this life is what I am trying to keep my total focus upon. I love Allah and All His Mercy and Blessings which include my dear brothers and sisters.
