I am learning about culturalism in the united states. So that i may become an honest and decent teacher to all races and enthic groups. Well i chose the arab-american religion because i am interested your cultures ways of life. And i definetly don't want to be rude. I need to know some history. Why did arabs start to come here in usa? What kind of experiences did you experience in your home countries? When Arabs entered our country how did the US law treat you? examples; permission to immigrate, citizenship, voting rights.status, treaties signed and either kept or broken.

I have an uncle who immigrated to USA about 40 years ago


He was a radiologist who took post studies in Germany, when he ranked top, I am not sure which comany contacted him to make a deal of opening a highly advanced clinic in Egypt at the time (5 4 or 55) after the 23 of July revolution, when he came back, nationalization decrees were applied. He found out he can not do the job. He took off to the US. But why US and rest of questions like immigration and all I dont have answers sorry. Hope other members will be able to help stay with us
