Did not A'isha teach men about Islam after the Prophet died? If she would not have done that because she was too shy to relate the hadith so much of our religion would be lost. Aoothu billah.

If the situation where you are talking to men does not crossover into haram, then proceed with caution. Remember that shaytan will do ANYTHING to get us away from Allah. Make sure that you are not slowly lured into haram. Rarely will a good muslim just jump completely into haram actions. Many times it is bit by bit.

Pray Istigharah (spelling?), too.

Sis, I know where your coming from I too feel uncomfortable about giving dawah to men. Some nonmuslim men dont know how to lower their gaze. That makes it alot more dofficult to answer them. Some of them are not genuine to even talk about islam their curiousity is on something else. even if you are covered from head to toe.

inshaAllah I think you should answer his question though, I'm sure that you will be fine. If he gets into anything thats none of his business (like some) then just explain to him that you are a muslim girl etc.

best of luck Ya bint uthman

Jezekelah khayran for the advice I appreciate it Brother &Sisters.

Yasmin what you said is true. He asked me yesterday if I could show him how we pray to God, because he's been watching me going out of class whenever its time for zhur prayer.

Well, I Couldn't show him obviously, I want to introduce him to a Brother who can.

He also reminded me that I still haven't told him who's Allah? That, I answered him alhamdulilah.

This persistent Attitude reminds of When Jabriel (Ra) came to Rasululah (SaLaLahu alaihi wasalam) in the form of a man and began asking him questions about Islam one after the other. Later RasuLuLah told his Sahabas that it was indeed Jabriel who came to teach them Islam.

Allah is the Hakeem.
