Al-Fudail bin Ayaad said: The more one increases his thanking of Allah by saying al-hamdu lillah, the more will there be those who make duaa' for him. He was asked: On what basis do you claim this? He responded: Everytime a person prays, he says: "Sami'ah Allahu li-man hamidah" (Allah hears those who praise and thank Him).
