need help

I am so happy you did it Alhamdulillah, all thanks and praises to our dear Lord who guides those whose hearts are really good. You know what, I really feel that your father could find the way to Islam, you know why? because you said that every now and then he changes his religion. which means that he is in search for the truth and he will not find happiness till he comes to know the truth which is Islam, the right path for all humanity. May Allah guide him and all your family. Never stop asking Allah to guide them.

I advice you brother Twister to read those books about how to pray, fast and the other pillars of Islam. keep going to the mosque and pray in congregation. And try to learn Arabic in order to read the original text of the Quran which is in Arabic. Keep always with you the translation of the Holy Quran in order to understand what you read. May Allah strenghten your faith and help you to overcome every kind of temptation! And may HE lighten your way!

thanks so much for your greetings. May GOD help you all as you help me before.

yesterday was the first day for me to practice prayers. Alhamdolelah i loved it. and my family too. they like prostrations very much. even my father like to prostrate with me for trying.

GOD is really very kind with me. alhamdolelah.

As sister Muslimah said prostration is a position when one is so close to Allah, that's why it is very preferable to ask Allah all your needs while prostrating, of course after praising Allah.

Brother Twister, I find your family very good at heart. May Allah open their hearts to Islam soon incha'Allah! Since your father tries to prostrate as well, tell him to ask Allah for guidance while prostrating.
