Something To Consider…
Here’s something to consider… here’s something to all mankind…
Do you ever feel empty? Like your soul is hard to find?
Did you ever think of what it could be?
Open up your eyes ask yourself and see…
What’s it worth?
Does it compare?
You have the urge to dress tightly…
If you stop and think you’ll realize He’s Truly Almighty.
In His Heaven, you get to wear silk and all that you may desire,
Dress like a queen, like you own an empire.
What’s it worth?
Does it compare?
You have the urge to look beautiful, so you use makeup all the time,
You think it’s okay you don’t realize it’s worse than a crime.
Allah Understands and that’s why he Allows us,
To explore these urges, where there will be no fuss.
What’s it worth?
Does it compare?
You have the urge to date, the urge to allow your desire to live,
You want to love, be loved, you want to take, you want to give.
That’s all a scene from a dream,
See what Allah will give you in marriage, if all of that you redeem.
What’s it worth?
Does it compare?
You have the urge to copy homework and cheat,
By any means, you want your grade to be complete.
Even if those means disappoint the One Above,
Does it mean anything to you that you’re losing His Love?
What’s it worth?
Does it compare?
You have the urge to do all of this and then you cry?
You didn’t think when you said Oh what’s one lie?
For this ignorance you shall pay,
Because you continued to ignore, even when blessed night and day.
What’s it worth?
Does it compare?
Through heaven and hell think if it really does compare,
If you really think about it you wouldn’t dare,
To disappoint Allah, and follow your urge,
You’ll find true happiness, and for your soul you shall purge.
What’s it worth?
Does it compare?
If you think that it is worth something to follow your desire,
Then even for just a split second place your finger in fire.
If you can handle the pain and heat with ease,
Then give yourself license to do and say as you please.
What’s it worth?
Does it compare?...
