Prophet Muhammad's Charter Of Privileges To Christ
#1

scene one : external : outside view of St. Catherine Monastery in Mt. Sinai.

time summer 623 C.E.

scene two : internal : inside a dark room in St. Catherine Monastery.

the candels light refelct on 10 or maybe 11 monks in the dark room..you can notice they are worried as they were waiting for the patriarch to finish his prayer to tell him why he called for this meeting. there were rumours in the Monastry that the Arab traveller who stopped by the Monastry this morning gave the Patriarch a message from someone important.

Monk 1: <whispering> do you think this meeting has something to do with the Arab vist this morning?

Monk 2: <whisper back> i bet it is, look at the table...there is a message on it..i'm sure...

the Patriarch finish his prayer and turn to the monks...he look at their faces to make sure they are all here.

the Patriarch : sure you wonder why i called for this meeting and why here

a Monk : the Arab traveller message!??

the rest of monks look at him in disgust..how dare you to interrupt the Patriarch?

the Patriarch wave his hand...its ok sons..i know you are worried about the message..its from a man called Mohammed, he say he is the prophet of God!

the Monks look at each other in surprise..only one of them doesn't seem to be surprised.....Gerogeos..the youngest of all Monks in the church and the most brilliant..he is from a small village in upper Egypt and his parents sent him to the Monsatry ever since he was 13 years old.

the Patriarch : Gerogeos my son...you are with us?

Gerogeos : maybe its him!!

the Patriarch : what are you talking about

Gerogeos : the desert man..the Arab...one of Ishmael sons..maybe he..

the Patriarch interrupt him : Gerogeos!!....we are not here to discuss the man prophethood, we are here to read his message!

Gerogeos : <looking at the floor> sorry father!

the Patriarch : move forward luke..read the man message

as Luke is moving forward to hold the message from the table everyone in the room were thinking..."war declaration or what?".."can the Pagan Arabs be better to us than the christian Brutal Romans!!?"

Luke take the message and start reading.

<b>This is a message from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, near and far, we are with them.</b>

the Patriarch showed no reaction..like an ice berg was his face....but you can noticed the sings of relief on the monks faces..esepcially Luke....and Gerogeos eyes were shining like he is waiting for something

<b>Verily I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them, because </b>

Luke smile like a child and look at the Patriarch and the monks and say : they will defend us!!!...they are willing to defend us!!

the Patrirarch give him a cold look and say : complete the message.

Luke blush a bit and continue reading

<b>Christians are my citizens; and by Allah! I hold out against anything that displeases them. </b>

No compulsion is to be on them.

Neither are their judges to be removed from their jobs nor their monks from their monasteries.

No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims' houses.

Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God's covenant and disobey His Prophet. Verily, they are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate.

No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight.

The Muslims are to fight for them.

If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, it is not to take place without her approval. She is not to be prevented from visiting her church to pray.

Their churches are to be respected. They are neither to be prevented from repairing them nor the sacredness of their covenants.

No one of the nation (Muslims) is to disobey the covenant till the Last Day (end of the world).

Luke finsih the message and roll it and gave it back to the Patriarch as his eyes was screaming of happines....even the Patriarch smiled...one of the Monks raise his hands to sky and scream with tears in his eyes "Thanks Jesus for sending us a saint to save us from the Romans oppression!!" 5 monks joined him saying the same words enthusiasticly.....the atmosphere of happines in the room was cheering all that was happening as Gerogeos was looking nowhere..his brain was racing and so was his heart..his lips was moving to say something...not heard or noticed by the monks but his voice became more clear..forcing them to be silent and look at him in shock..he was saying.."the man is a prophet not a saint"...one seconds or two before one or two monks asked "what?"..he pointed a finger at them in said "the man is a prophet...a prophet" and rushed out of the room.
