GCC condemns Israel's aggression against the Islamic sites in Palestine
RIYADH, Feb 6 (KUNA) -- <b>The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) on Tuesday condemned the demolishing acts carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities near and undeneath the Muslim holy shrine of al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.</b>GCC Secretary General Abdelrahman al Attiya said in a statement: "The ongoing Israeli provocative acts have unvieled the hostile policies of Israel and constituted a flagrant violation of international resolutions".
He called on the international community and concerned world organizations to launch a serious action to stop the Israeli aggression on Islamic sanctuaries, underlining significance that the international quartet committee bore the responsibility and pressurized Israel abide by its obligations.
