Assalamu 'alaykum,

Two nights ago, my brothers and sisters, I went to a graveyard...What an experience...Thing is, I've done it before a few times, but it was always in the day light...This time, however, it was in the dark...late in the night...Subhanallah...Seriously bro's, if you want an "Imaan-booster" as they say, go to the graves in the dark...

It was a grave occupied by disbelieving residents...I happened to walk passed it, and thought, I might aswell enter...When you think, that, these people now, are crying and invoking upon their Lord to delay the hour..."Our Lord, delay the hour...Our Lord, delay the hour"...It really does come to you that you were created from dust, and to it, you will return...

And this death, will reach you...wherever you may be...there is no escape from it...

And this life...is a vain enjoyment...as Allah describes it...

And every soul....shall taste death...

As for the believer, then he calls upon Allah to hasten the hour...as he knows what is prepared for Him by Allah, from paradises...and gardens...and rivers...and lakes...and...and...

As for the disbeliever, then he knows what his abode is...and it will be on that day that he calls upon the Allah...to return them to this dunya...so that they can do good in it...

And they know...that they will call upon the guardians of hellfire, .... to call upon their Lord....to relieve even a day...of the punishment...

Subhanallah..."Oftly remember the destroyed of pleasures..."

Go to the grave yards brothers, and remember that that is were you will end up...

We ask Allah to seal our lives with good...

"And what is this life, except a vain enjoyment..."

I like to reflect on the fact that we as humans let ourselves be delude into an attitude that death will not touch us. Like we will be the first people in the history of the world to ever NOT die!


Even the unbelievers have to agree to this great truth: if there is life, then there will be death. Our attitudes about this reality is what seperates us.


We should try to never let a day pass where we do not reflect upon our own deaths. It IS coming... we just don't know WHEN.


May we all die as muslims!

I mean, even though we know that death will touch us, we act and feel as though nothing will ever happen to us. We operate as though we'll live forever.


We spend our entire lives seeking money, for what? what happens to it after we die...
