Dealing with Arrogant Muslims
#11

good to see you brother...

alhamdulillah...

you can view my thread "how do i deal with these ppl!!!"

for references to the hadith...

but my advice to you is this.....

the way of our rasuul is to teach the person about ALLAH first...

please brother... do not YET pre occupy yourself with teaching him about wuduu... instead what you should do is teach him about allah then you can go ahead to teach him wuduu after (re: imam ibn uyaynah quoted by imam al qahtanii in his book al walaa wal baraa vol 1)

it doesnt make sense to teach him these things when he may have problems with his aqidah... remember this is a possibility... try teaching him about allah first... and read through the thread that i started about "how do i deal with these ppl!!!"

make dua for the brother insha allah...

welcome to the board brother.... heheh [Image: wink.gif] aren't you happy that you took my advice.....[Image: smile.gif]

JazaaKallah! For all of your help! I am working on gaining his good side right now. So from there we can proceed caus he was really angry with me for the CDs. He asked me to carry him to his friends home to collect something and he dropped off the CDs. YA ALLAH ! So I ended up contributing to it anywayz ! I feel as guilty as ever! [Image: sad.gif]

I share the same opinion with naseeha, naseeha brother post the hadeeth pls.

YouthofIslam. ok here is more, tell him that salah is a meeting with Allah the All MIghty, yes Allah fixed the times for it, yet if we r late, He is still there. Just give him an example, if he has a meeting with a manager, department head, professor or so, usually he is there 15 minutes ahead of time, in case he is 4 minute late, he might not be allowed in. In other cases, he may not even be allowed a meeting with the person he needs to see but rather with the assistant. Unlike our Merciful Allah, He is always there with all His Glory and Majesty, with all His Superiority, yet He is there Allah Himself not an assistant or secretary. Tell him, in salah we start the meeting by saying Allah u Akbar and we end it by saying as salam alykom. Allah never dismisses anyone from His presence. O ya Allah, teach him these concepts brother, Insha Allah bit by bit he will come back.

Insh a Allah I will come back when there is more.
