Death And Resurrection
#1

as salam alykom

On another thread, there seemed to be I will not say confusion, but unclariy around death and resurrection, Insh aAllah I will try to post Ayahs covering the issue:

"And it is Allah Who sends the winds, so that they raise up the clouds, and We drive them to a dead land, and revive therewith the earth after its death. As such (will be) the Resurrection!" (Quran 35:9)

"He it is, Who has made the earth subservient to you (i.e. easy for you to walk, to live and to do agriculture on it, etc.), so walk in the path thereof and eat of His provision, and to Him will be the Resurrection.

" (Quran 76:15)

"O mankind! If you are in doubt about the Resurrection, then verily! We have created you (i.e. Adam) from dust, then from a Nutfah (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge i.e. offspring of Adam), then from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood) then from a little lump of flesh, some formed and some unformed (miscarriage), that We may make (it) clear to you (i.e. to show you Our Power and Ability to do what We will). And We cause whom We will to remain in the wombs for an appointed term, then We bring you out as infants, then (give you growth) that you may reach your age of full strength. And among you there is he who dies (young), and among you there is he who is brought back to the miserable old age, so that he knows nothing after having known. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down water (rain) on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells and puts forth every lovely kind (of growth)." (Quran 22:5)

"And those who have been bestowed with knowledge and faith will say: "Indeed you have stayed according to the Decree of Allah, until the Day of Resurrection, so this is the Day of Resurrection, but you knew not." (Quran 30:56)

"And surely, the Hour is coming, there is no doubt about it, and certainly, Allah will resurrect those who are in the graves." (Quran 22:7)

"O you who believe! Take not as friends the people who incurred the Wrath of Allah (i.e. the Jews). Surely, they have been in despair to receive any good in the Hereafter, just as the disbelievers have been in despair about those (buried) in graves (that they will not be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection)." (Quran 60:13)

"And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents)" (Quran 82:4)

"Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected)." (Quran 100:9)

Insh a Allah this is enough for now, I will be posting more, I hope my brothers and sisters share the search and post.

Alsalam 'alaykom wa Rahmat Allah

Alhamdulilah that he has guided us to this, Alhamdulilah for everything he gave us, and

for every blessing that he bestowed upon us.

Masha'Allah sister Jazakky Allah khayr for this thread, it will be a very good reminder

as well for us to always remember that we will return to ashes, and that this life is

nothing but a ladder to the Resurrection day. May Allah grant us his mercy and Jannah

Allahum Ameen.

Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem:

28. How can you disbelieve in Allâh? Seeing that you were dead and He gave you life. Then He will give you death, then again will bring you to life (on the Day of Resurrection) and then unto Him you will return.
2, Al-Baqara

Subhan Allah, how people can be so unfaithful to the lord, who created us out of nothing, out of dust and gave us health and beauty. It is he who created us will be able to take our life and then bring it back and then it is either heaven or hell.

Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem:

258. Have you not looked at him who disputed with Ibrâhim (Abraham) about his Lord (Allâh), because Allâh had given him the kingdom? When Ibrâhim (Abraham) said (to him): "My Lord (Allâh) is He Who gives life and causes death." He said, "I give life and cause death." Ibrâhim (Abraham) said, "Verily! Allâh causes the sun to rise from the east; then cause it you to rise from the west." So the disbeliever was utterly defeated. And Allâh guides not the people, who are Zâlimûn (wrong-doers, etc.).
2, Al-Baqara

Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, how can people give themselves the previlage to be like The

Creator, The All Knowing, It is only He that has the Power to give us life and to take

our lives.

Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem:

26. Say (O Muhammad ): "O Allâh! Possessor of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will, and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You endue with honour whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You are Able to do all things.

27. You make the night to enter into the day, and You make the day to enter into the night (i.e. increase and decrease in the hours of the night and the day during winter and summer), You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give wealth and sustenance to whom You will, without limit (measure or account).

156. O you who believe! Be not like those who disbelieve (hypocrites) and who say to their brethren when they travel through the earth or go out to fight: "If they had stayed with us, they would not have died or been killed," so that Allâh may make it a cause of regret in their hearts. It is Allâh that gives life and causes death. And Allâh is AllSeer of what you do 3, Al-Imran

Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem:

4. And who believe in (the Qur'ân and the Sunnah) which has been sent down (revealed) to you (Muhammad Peace be upon him ) and in [the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), etc.] which were sent down before you and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter. (Resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and Hell, etc.). 2,Al-Baqara

Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem:

135. Say (O Muhammad ): "O my people! Work according to your way, surely, I too am working (in my way), and you will come to know for which of us will be the (happy) end in the Hereafter. Certainly the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) will not be successful.
6, Al-An'am

I hope this will help, I thank Allah for his aid, if I am right it is from Allah, if I am

wrong it is from my ignorance and mistake.

Ok more Insh a Allah

"Or like the one who passed by a town and it had tumbled over its roofs. He said: "<b>Oh! How will Allah ever bring it to life after its death?" So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years, then raised him up (again). </b>He said: "How long did you remain (dead)?" He (the man) said: "(Perhaps) I remained (dead) a day or part of a day". He said: "Nay, you have remained (dead) for a hundred years, look at your food and your drink, they show no change; and look at your donkey! And thus We have made of you a sign for the people. Look at the bones, how We bring them together and clothe them with flesh". When this was clearly shown to him, he said, "I know (now) that Allah is Able to do all things." (Quran 2:259)

I dont think Allah's clear and direct words need further explanation, they are self explanatory. Alhamdulelah,
