Cleaning my teeth this morning I glanced at the ingredients of my mouthwash. It contains Alcohol.


Now does this mean muslims can't use it, or is it ok because you don't actually swallow it, just rinse and spit?

There are plenty of substitutes one can use which do not contain alohol

So just washing your mouth with it would cause problem?


How about alcohol based handwashes? Theres a lot of them being used in UK hospitals, in the wake of the MRSA scare. Would this be an issue for muslims?
